"The Walking Dead" Graphic Novel: Part Twelve Quiz

Answer: A box of cereal

Rick and Carl found a can of oatmeal during their search for food. Michonne found the fruit cocktail, along with some other cans. The package of peanut butter crackers Glenn found looked as if mice had bitten through it. No box of cereal was found. The survivors were low on food and went out on daily searches to find more.

Answer: A radio

Rick wanted to listen to the radio to see if he could pick up anything. Eugene didn't want him to, explaining that they needed to save the batteries. When Rick tried to use the radio, Eugene wrapped him up and began to yell. The radio fell and broke during the struggle, revealing an empty compartment.

The radio, which Eugene claimed he had used to communicate with his friends, had never had batteries.

Answer: High-school science teacher

Ever since Rick and the others met Eugene they believed that he was guiding them to Washington to meet up with his fellow scientists. Abraham beat him until he admitted that he was not a scientist working for the government- he was in fact a high-school science teacher. Eugene said that he had only two things going for him: he was intelligent and he was a good liar.

Answer: The Governor

Aaron approached Rick and Abraham with his hands held up. He wore a smile and spoke politely. He explained that he had been watching the group for some time and felt they were trustworthy. Afterward, Rick punched him in the face because of the similarity between him and the evil Governor, who also acted overly friendly.

Answer: Constable

Douglas, the man in charge of the new community, interviewed Rick and instantly knew he was an intelligent leader. Since Rick was also a police officer before the zombies arrived, the job of constable was a good fit for him. Abraham became part of security as well as a construction worker, Morgan became a chef, and Maggie became a teacher.

Answer: Halloween

Nobody knew the exact date, but Douglas assumed that they were within two weeks of October 31st. So, all of the children in the community ran around collecting candy from all of the residents. They insisted that the trick-or-treating began during the day, for safety. Carl begrudgingly went as a cowboy.

Answer: Glenn

The group was startled when they heard Glenn screaming that he was fine and he didn't want to leave the party. He swung his arms belligerently and dropped his glass. Maggie escorted him home, embarrassed. Later, Rick met up with Glenn, who had faked it all. It was a chance for the two to talk about the fact that Glenn was spying around for Rick.

Answer: Her sword

Earlier, when Douglas asked the group for their weapons, Michonne asked to hold onto her trusty sword because of its sentimental value. She placed it on the wall and recalled the countless times she had used it. She remembered using it on humans and zombies alike. She then said, "I'm through with you."

Answer: Douglas

During her interviewing process, Andrea was asked by Douglas if she was single. Later, he told her he would always take care of her- especially her. Andrea was angry because Douglas had a wife, but he explained that it was essentially a loveless marriage, one of convenience. She walked away and told him she was not interested.

Answer: Carl

While it may have been true that many of Rick's group hated the community, Carl was the one who let his emotions show. He refused to enjoy the Halloween festivities and the party. He was worried that the people they met were only acting happy. Also, he worried that the place would make them soft, and weaken them. Michonne also showed her discomfort.
