Answer: EdWood (1994)

Although Bela Lugosi is most often associated with saying this quote in the 1931 version of "Dracula", directed by Tod Browning. Bela Lugosi never did say "I want to suck your blood!" Some of Lugosi's costars in this film were Helen Chandler and David Manners.
When Tim Burton filmed "Ed Wood" in 1994, Dr. Tom Mason (Ned Bellamy) was practicing his Bela Lugosi impersonation and said that quote in humor, which was then used in the film.
2. Which is the correct quote said in "Frankenstein" (1931)?

Answer: "It's alive"

In "Frankenstein" (1931), "It's alive" is the correct quote. When Dr. Frankenstein succeeded in bringing the monster to life he was excited and exclaimed, "It's alive!" This classic film was directed by James Whale. Colin Clive starred as Dr. Henry Frankenstein and Boris Karloff as the monster.

In 1974 Mel Brooks made a spoof called "Young Frankenstein" starring Gene Wilder as Frederick Frankenstein, Marty Feldman as Igor and Teri Garr as Inga. The line used in this film was "Alive. It's alive! It's Alive!" said by Gene Wilder.
3. Which actor is thought to have said, "You dirty rat!"?

Answer: James Cagney

James Cagney is associated with the quote, "You dirty rat!" but he actually never said it quite that way. What he did say is "Mmm, that dirty, double-crossin' rat", as the character Bert Harris, in the 1931 film "Blonde Crazy". This film was directed by Roy Del Ruth. Costars included Joan Blondell, Louis Calhern and Ray Milland.
4. What did "Tarzan" actually say?

Answer: "Jane, Tarzan, Jane, Tarzan"

Edgar Rice Burroughs wrote the great classic story "Tarzan" in 1912.

In the 1932 , "Tarzan, the Ape Man", the quote "Me Tarzan, you Jane!" was never said. "Tarzan, the Ape Man" was directed by W. S. Van Dyke and starred Johnny Weissmuller as Tarzan and Maureen O'Sullivan as Jane. The actual conversation between Tarzan and Jane went like this:

As Jane pointed to her own self she said, "Jane."
Tarzan then points toward Jane and says, "Jane."
Pointing toward Tarzan, Jane asks, "And you? You?"
While proudly poking himself in the chest, Tarzan eagerly replied, "Tarzan, Tarzan."
Happily emphasizing the reply that Tarzan gave, Jane points to Tarzan and says, "Tarzan."
With excitement, Tarzan then pokes back and forth exclaiming, "Jane, Tarzan, Jane, Tarzan!"
5. In the 1933 film "She Done Him Wrong", what did Mae West actually say?

Answer: "Why don't you come up sometime 'n see me?"

Mae West's line in "She Done Him Wrong" (1933) has been misquoted countless times. Lowell Sherman directed the film with Mae West playing the part of Lady Lou. Starring alongside Mae West were Cary Grant as Capt. Cummings and Owen Moore as Chick Clark.

In the film Mae West's character, Lady Lou, was a liberated and promiscuous woman. Her character was flirtatious and interested in Captain Cummings (Cary Grant) so offered a seductive invitation for him to go up to her place. First she expressed how she liked a man in uniform and how Captain Cummings' uniform fit so very well! This was when the actual quote of "Why don't you come up sometime 'n see me." came in.
6. What did the wicked Queen from "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" (1937) actually say when addressing the mirror?

Answer: "Magic mirror on the wall, who is the fairest one of all?"

Most people misquote this statement from Disney's animated film "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" as being "Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?" The wicked Queen really said "Magic mirror on the wall, who is the fairest one of all?" The wicked Queen only wanted to be the fairest one and became very upset when the mirror replied that Snow White was the fairest one of all.

The wicked Queen then plotted the demise of Snow White. The part of the wicked Queen was voiced by Lucille La Verne.

The original fairy tale story was written by Wilhelm Grimm and Jacob Grimm, better known as the Brothers Grimm.
7. What is the famous quote made by Tom Hanks, as James Lovell, in the film "Apollo 13"?

Answer: "Houston, we have a problem."

The movie "Apollo 13" was directed by Ron Howard and starred Tom Hanks, Bill Paxton, Kevin Bacon, Gary Sinise, Ed Harris, Kathleen Quinlan and a host of many fine actors and actresses.

One of the best quotes in the film was "Houston, we have a problem" which was said by Tom Hanks, in his role as James Lovell, in the 1995 film "Apollo 13".

Historically speaking, James Lovell, factually said "Houston, we've had a problem." Apollo 13's number two oxygen tank had exploded creating a series of problems which hampered the safe return of the three astronauts from space back to Earth.
8. What is the actual quote made by Darth Vader in "Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back?"

Answer: "No, I am your father"

Many people believe that the quote spoken by Darth Vader in "Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back" (1980) was, "Luke, Luke, I am your father." but this was never said. The true quote was "No, I am your father." but was not even said on camera. It was actually dubbed in later to replace the words originally said on camera which were "Obi-Wan killed your father".
Mark Hamill played the role of Luke Skywalker and David Prowse played Darth Vader.
Where the quote "Luke, Luke, I am your father" comes from is the 1995 film "Tommy Boy" starring Chris Farley.
9. Did Sherlock Holmes really say "Elementary, my dear Watson!"?

Answer: Yes

In the first Sherlock Holmes film with sound, "The Return of Sherlock Holmes" (1929), the line "Elementary, my dear Watson" was put in, becoming popular afterward. The quote actually appeared in a film review by the New York Times in 1929. However, "Elementary, my dear Watson" was never in any of the Sherlock Holmes books by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
10. What is a quiz without a 'quote in "Casablanca"'? Which is not a correct quote?

Answer: "Play it again, Sam."

"Casablanca" is a classic film from 1942. "Play it again, Sam" is the misquote thought to have been said by Humphrey Bogart but what he actually said was "You played it for her, you can play it for me...If she can stand it, I can. Play it!" The next quote which comes closest to "Play it again, Sam" was spoken by Ingrid Bergman's character when she did say, "Play it, Sam". What they were requesting Sam (played by Dooley Wilson) to play again was "As Time Goes By", written by Herman Hupfeld. The Marx Brothers made a spoof in 1946 called "A Night In Casablanca" where they spoke the line "Play it again, Sam". Woody Allen also made a comedy in 1972, called "Play It Again, Sam" where the wrongly used quote was reinforced even further.
