Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. The Emperor told Anakin that if he joined the "Dark Side" of the Force, he could stop people from dying. Did he fulfill this prophecy?

Answer: No

Anakin had dreams of his mother's death in the prior movie and dreamed of Padme dying in childbirth. However, he was never able to stop his mother's death. The Emperor lied to him about his ability to stop people from dying. As Anakin donned his Darth Vader costume for the first time, the Emperor told him that he had killed Padme. This led to Anakin thinking that he had no offspring.
2. Who stated "Twice the pride, double the fall"?

Answer: Count Dooku

This occurred at the beginning of the movie when Anakin, who had lost a hand to Dooku in an earlier battle, stated to him that his powers had doubled since they had faced each other the last time. However, Anakin was successful in killing Dooku this time.
3. How did Anakin and Obi-Wan bring the Chancellor back, after they rescued him from General Grevious?

Answer: They drove half a ship back into the atmosphere of Coruscant.

General Grevious escaped by ship, after smashing the glass. He was hoping to kill whoever was left on board, as he had a rescue ship. However, they were actually able to fly the ship back into the atmosphere on Coruscant even after it broke in two.
4. How did R4 destroy the buzz droids that were attacking Obi-Wan's ship?

Answer: He didn't

The vulture or buzz droids got all over Obi-Wan's ship as they approached General Grevious's ship. They tore R4 apart. One landed on Anakin's ship and R2 destroyed it by hitting it in the center eye, however, R4 got destroyed himself.
5. What did Obi-Wan see when he got back to the Jedi Temple and looked at the security tape, after it had been attacked?

Answer: All of These

Obi-Wan was shocked to see his protege not only slaying younglings but also turning to the dark side, as Darth Vader. Yoda seemed to already know, as he saw that the younglings were killed by light saber.
6. Who was the dark lord of the Sith that allegedly was able to save people from death?

Answer: Darth Plagueis

While Senator Palpatine was trying to win over Anakin, to turn him to the dark side, he used Anakin's fear of Padme dying in childbirth to tell him the story of Darth Plagueis who could save people from dying. Ironically, Darth Plagueis was killed by his own apprentice.
7. What did Darth Vader scream, when he was told that he had killed Padme?

Answer: No

This seemed to be the only time in this movie that we saw the human that was left in Darth Vader, as he screamed "Noooooooooooooooo!" He was deceived by his own master, who lied as Padme died in childbirth and not by Vader's hand.
8. Who burned up two armed battle droids?

Answer: R2-D2

If not for R2-D2 in almost every movie, evil would have won. In the beginning of this movie, the Supreme Chancellor was "kidnapped" and Anakin and Obi-Wan were on an elevator. One of them picked up R2 but R2 spit out oil on them and then lit a fire and burned them up. He then returned to helping Anakin and Obi-Wan.
9. Did Anakin kill Padme?

Answer: No

Anakin was in a rage as he had already turned to the dark side and thought she had betrayed him. So he started to choke her. However, Obi-Wan got him to release the choke hold on her. She had her babies but just lost the will to live after the way everything turned out.
10. Who figured out how to come back from the dead and communicate?

Answer: Qui-Gon Jinn

Obi-Wan went back to Tatooine to give baby Luke to Beru and Owen Lars to raise. Yoda told him that during his long stay there, he would be able to talk to his old master, Qui-Gon Jinn. It was interesting that the Jedi knew that but the Emperor did not. That was the false promise that helped sway Anakin to the Dark Side.
