1. Which of these is a B-side to "The Lovecats"?

Answer: Mr. Pink Eyes

Robert Smith of The Cure has stated that "Mr. Pink Eyes" was one of his favorite B-sides because, "I got to dust off my harmonica and go crazy again!....I wrote the words after I caught site of myself in the studio toilet mirror." However, "Mr. Pink Eyes" was an extra B-side to "The Lovecats". The first was "Speak My Language".
2. "The Big Hand" was a B-side to which song?

Answer: A Letter to Elise

This B-side was a favorite of guitarist Porl Thompson and is the reason the "Wish" album has a "big hand" on the cover. The other B-side to "A Letter to Elise" was "A Foolish Arrangement".

Answer: Hey You!!

"Hey You!" was also released on the cassette version of "Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me", but not on the CD version.

"Hello I Love You" was from the Rubaiyat compilation, a various artists tribute celebrating the 40th anniversary of Elektra Records.

"This is a Lie" was the B-side of "Gone"/"Strange Attraction".

"Splintered in Her Head" was recorded the same night as "Charlotte Sometimes". It began with a drumbeat that Robert Smith was "playing around with" and eventually became a song.

"Scared As You" was an extra B-side from "Friday I'm in Love".

"Another Journey By Train" was the B-side of "A Forest". It was originally called "Horse Racing" due to sounding like running horses. Soon before release it sounded more like a runaway train.

Answer: Purple Haze

The Cure lists Hendrix as one of their biggest influences. Previously The Cure also covered "Foxy Lady" on their first album "Three Imaginary Boys".
