Two sets of twins were born in Genesis. They are Jacob and Esau, the sons of Isaac and Rebekah, and Perez and Zerah, the sons of Judah and Tamaria.

The births of Jacob and Esau are documented in Genesis 25:25-26 while details about the births of Perez and Zerah can be found in Genesis 38:29-30.

3. Find the match for the number of years Solomon ruled as king of Israel. (1 Kings 11:42)

Answer: 40

1 Kings 11:42 tells of Solomon reigning in Jerusalem over all Israel for forty years. He was the son of David and Bathsheba and during his reign, Israel enjoyed immense prosperity as while as peace with its traditional enemies.

After he died, Solomon was replaced as king by his son Rehoboam.
4. Find the match for the number of times a child sneezed after he was raised from the dead by Elisha. (2 Kings 4:32-35)

Answer: 7

According to Scripture, an unnamed child from Shunem sneezed seven times after he was raised from dead by Elisha, a prophet of God. 2 Kings 4:32-35 tells of Elisha praying to the LORD before he "lay on the child, and put his mouth on his mouth, his eyes on his eyes, and his hands on his hands; and he stretched himself out on the child, and the flesh of the child became warm." Scripture goes on to tell of Elisha walking back and forth in the house and again stretching himself out on the child. Amazingly, the child sneezed seven times and opened his eyes.

According to the website Christiananswers.net, Shunem "was a little village in the tribe of Issachar, to the north of Jezreel and south of Mount Gilboa."
5. Find the match for the number of sons of Noah, as per Genesis 6:10.

Answer: 3

Noah and his unnamed wife were the parents of three sons. There names were Shem, Ham and Japheth.

Scripture states Noah and his wife and their three sons and their unnamed wives took refuge in a gigantic ark and were saved when floodwaters engulfed the world. Details about the flood can be found in Genesis 7 and 8.
6. Find the match for the number of governors Solomon had under him presiding over Israel. (1 Kings 4:7)

Answer: 12

Twelve is the correct answer. According to Scripture, each governor was responsible for providing food for Solomon and his household for one month each year. The names of Solomon's governors were Ben-Hur, Ben-Deker, Ben-Hesed, Ben-Abinadab, Baana (son of Ahilud), Ben-Geber, Ahinadab, Ahimaaz, Baanah (son of Hushai), Jehoshaphat, Shimei and Geber.

See 1 Kings 4:7-19 for more details.
7. Find the match for the number of verses in Psalm 119, using the NKJV and the NIV.

Answer: 176

Psalm 119 has one hundred and seventy six verses. In fact, it is the only chapter in the Bible with more than one hundred verses. No other chapter in the Protestant Bible comes close to having so many verses. The next chapter with the most verses is Numbers 7 with eighty-nine. Luke 1 has eighty verses and Matthew 26 has seventy-five while Nehemiah has seventy-three. Four other chapters have more than seventy verses.

They are Psalm 78 with seventy-two verses, Mark 14 with seventy-two verses, Luke 22 with seventy-one verses and John 6 with seventy-one verses.
8. Find the match for the age of Jared, the second oldest man in the Bible, at the time of his death. (Genesis 5:20)

Answer: 962

According to Genesis 5:20, Jared lived a total of 962 years. He was the son of Mahalalel. Jared is perhaps best known for being the father of Enoch.

Methuselah was the oldest person in the Bible, living for a total of 969 years, according to Genesis 5:27.
9. Find the match for the number of men Gideon took into battle against the Midianites. (Judges 7:7)

Answer: 300

According to the seventh chapter of Judges, Gideon led three hundred soldiers to victory over a gigantic number of men battling for the Midianites. Judges 7:1-7 tells of Gideon having 32,000 soldiers and the number being reduced to 10,000 when 22,000 of them were excused for being fearful of fighting the Midianites. Then the LORD instructed Gideon to lead 10,000 men to water where they were apparently told to drink.

Then things got downright interesting. The men who drank by lapping the water from their cupped hands like a dog were selected for battle while those who knelt down to drink were rejected. Only three hundred men lapped water like a dog, yet those were the ones the LORD told Gideon to take into battle. Sure enough, the chapter ends with an amazing victory by Gideon's three hundred men over their opposition.

According to Judges 6:12 in the NIV Bible, Gideon means "Mighty Warrior."
10. Find the match for the TOTAL number of pieces of silver many people BELIEVE Delilah was given to betray Samson. (Judges 16:5)

Answer: 5,500

Delilah was given a whopping five thousand and five hundred pieces of silver to betray her lover Samson, many Bible scholars believe. The story of Samson and Delilah is one of the most colorful ones in the Old Testament with Scripture stating his long hair was the secret to his super strength. However, when Delilah had Samson's locks cut, he lost his power.

Greed was the simple reason Delilah betrayed Samson. Judges 16:5, in the NKJV, states: "And the lords of the Philistines came up to her and said to her, 'Entice him, and find out where his great strength lies, and by what means we may overpower him, that we may bind him to afflict him; and every one of us will give you eleven hundred pieces of silver.'"

Make no mistake about it. Delilah was bribed with a massive amount of money to betray Samson. It's as if no price was too high for the lords of the Philistines to bring him down.

It's worth noting the offer of eleven hundred shekels of silver from each Philistine lord was multiplied by five. In other words, she was offered 5,500 pieces of silver from five rulers.

(The belief five Philistine lords offered silver to Delilah is based on the fact Judges 3:3 makes mention of five Philistine lords. References to five Philistine lords can be also found in Joshua 13:3, 1 Samuel 6:4, 6:16, 6:18 and 1 Samuel 17:40.)

Samson, however, would have his final hurrah. With his hair partially grown back, the 16th chapter of Judges states he used his remaining strength to get revenge against the Philistines who had taken him captive. While the Philistine rulers were offering "a great sacrifice" to Dagon their god, it was decided to bring out Samson for "entertainment" purposes. A crucial mistake was made when Samson was placed by the pillars that supported the temple.

Judges 16:30 states: "Samson said, 'Let me die with the Philistines!' Then he pushed with all his might, and down came the temple on the rulers and all the people in it. Thus he killed many more when he died than while he lived."

According to Wikipedia, Delilah means "One who weakened or uprooted or impoverished."
