2. Find the match for the number of sons of Gideon, as per Judges 8:30.

Answer: 70

According to Judges 8:30, Gideon had seventy sons. However, no details are given about the number of daughters or the number of wives Gideon had. Gideon was a noted judge of Israel who led the nation to a spectacular military victory over the Midianites.
3. Find the match for the number of shekels Jeremiah paid for his cousin Hanamel's field, as per Jeremiah 32:9 in the NKJV.

Answer: 17

According to Jeremiah 32:9, Jeremiah paid seventeen shekels of silver for a field owned by Hanamel, his cousin. Jeremiah purchased the field after he received divine orders. For more details, see Jeremiah 32:1-15.

Jeremiah was a major prophet of God and the writer of an Old Testament book that bears his name. Tradition holds he also wrote 1 Kings, 2 Kings and Lamentations.

He is known as the Weeping Prophet.
4. Find the match for the number of altars Balaam told Balak to build, as per Numbers 23:29.

Answer: 7

According to Numbers 23:29 in the NKJV, Balaam told Balak to build seven altars "and prepare for me here seven bulls and seven rams." Balaam is perhaps best known for hearing a donkey speak to him, as per Numbers 22:22-40. Balak was a king of Moab who was opposed to the Israelites moving into Canaan, known as the Promised Land.
5. Find the match for the age of Moses when he murdered an unnamed man in Egypt.

Answer: 40

Moses was forty years old when he murdered a man. While details of Moses' age do not appear in the Old Testament, Acts 7:23-24 states he was forty years old when he killed the unnamed man in Egypt. The information is contained in an address by Stephen during a trial before the Pharisees.

Details about Moses committing murder can be found in Exodus 2:11-15.
6. Find the match for the number of days Jonah was in the stomach of a giant fish.

Answer: 3

Jonah spent three days in the stomach of a giant fish, according to the Book of Jonah. Scripture tells of Jonah receiving divine instructions to go to Nineveh to preach a message of repentance to the people but he foolishly tried to run from God and boarded a ship bound for Tarshish.

When a ferocious storm erupted, Jonah ended up being cast overboard and then swallowed by a mammoth fish. Three days later he was regurgitated on dry land. Scripture goes on to tell of Jonah going to Nineveh and being highly successful in convincing the people to repent.
7. Find the match for the number of soldiers Gideon led to victory over a massive Midianite army, as per Judges 7:7.

Answer: 300

Gideon led three hundred Israelite soldiers to a spectacular military victory over a massive Midianite army. According to Judges 7:1-8, Gideon originally commanded thirty-two thousand soldiers but after God told him he had too many warriors, twenty-two thousand soldiers who confessed they were scared to go into battle were allowed to go home.

The remaining ten thousand soldiers were led to water and Gideon received divine instructions to select those who lapped water like a dog into battle. Scripture states three hundred men lapped water like a dog and they proved invincible in battle against a massive Midianite army.
8. Find the match for the number of days a person is unclean after they touch a dead body, as per Numbers 19:11.

Answer: 7

The correct answer is seven days. Details are given in Numbers 19:11. Scripture goes on to state a person who touches a dead body must purify themselves with water on the third day and on the seventh day to become clean.

Tradition holds Numbers was written by Moses, but some modern day theologians dispute this belief.

9. Find the match for the number of years Israel had peace with its neighbors after Deborah and Barak defeated Sisera and the Canaanites.

Answer: 40

According to Judges 5:31 in the NKJV, "the land had rest for forty years" after Deborah and Barak routed the Canaanites in battle. Deborah was the only female judge of Israel and Barak was the commander of the nation's army at the time. It's interesting to note Barak agreed to lead the Israelites into battle only if he was accompanied by Deborah, as per Judges 4:8-10.
10. Find the match for the number of sons of Eli who were killed in battle when the Philistines captured the ark of God, as per 1 Sameul 4:11.

Answer: 2

Eli had two sons -- Hophni and Phinehas -- who were killed in battle when the Philistines captured the ark of God. Eli was a noted judge and high priest of Israel. According to Scripture, Eli was sitting on a stool when he received news his two sons were killed in battle and the ark of God had been captured by the Philistines.

As soon as Eli heard about the capture of the ark of God, he fell backwards off his stool and died after breaking his neck, Scripture states. He was ninety-eight years old.
