In Genesis 7:21 we are told that all flesh died that moved upon the earth in verse 22 of all that was in the dry land died, and in verse 23 which was upon the face of the ground. But neither of these includes the creatures of the water! It makes you wonder why the the birds of the air were destroyed but the creatures of the water were spared.
