Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. In the First Test, in Darwin, who scored centuries?

Answer: Darren Lehmann and Steve Waugh

Lehmann scored 110 before being caught out, and Waugh scored 100 not out. This meant Steve had scored a century against every Test playing nation, becoming the third player to do so (India's Sunil Gavaskar and Sachin Tendulkar had also accomplised this feat).
2. Who was named man-of-the-match of the First Test?

Answer: Steve Waugh

Australia won the match by an innings and 132 runs at Darwin's Marrara Oval.
3. Who scored centuries in the Second Test?

Answer: Darren Lehmann, Steve Waugh and Martin Love

Lehmann scored 177 before being caught, Waugh made 156 not out, and Love ran 100 not out. Waugh became the first player to have scored 150 against every Test playing nation. For the first Test in a long while, neither Hayden nor Langer scored a century.
4. Who was judged man-of-the-match for the Second Test (also man-of-the-series)?

Answer: Stuart MacGill

He didn't bat in either of the two Test series which Australia won 2-0, but his bowling earned him the honours. He took 2/21 and 5/65 in the First Test, and 5/77 and 5/56 in the Second Test. The Aussies won the Second Test by an innings and 98 runs at Bundaberg Rum Stadium in Cairns.

Answer: Ian Harvey

This came from 6.3 overs; Harvey took the last wicket of the match. Gillespie took 1/16, Bichel took 1/35 and Hogg 2/32 as well as 2 run-outs. Bangaladesh were all out for 142, losing by 112 runs.
10. Who was named man-of-the-match for his 101 off 118 balls, and was also named man-of-the-series?
