Bobby Allison began his carreer in his home state of Florida but migrated to Alabama when he heard that he could race every night of the week and win more money.
2. Bobby Allison had a brother that also drove race cars. His name was?

Answer: Donnie

Donnie Allison also made it to the ranks of Winston Cup but never was as big a star as Bobby. He was injured in a race car in the eighties and retired from driving.
3. Bobby Allison got his first Nascar Grand National (Winston Cup) win in Oxford, Maine. The date was?

Answer: July 12, 1966

Bobby started on the pole and won the 300 lap race by one lap over Tiny Lund.

Bobby won the 1978 Daytona 500 driving the Ford Thunderbird owned by Bud Moore. It was their first race together.

Donnie and Cale wrecked going down the backstretch and going into the third turn on the last lap of the race. After the race was over Bobby stopped to see if Donnie was alright and got dragged into the fight. This was the first Daytona broadcast live from flag to flag.
