1. 'Red Data' - In this episode we find out a bit more about Kuze, and a young boy named Chai who has got in way over his head. What has he gotten into?

Answer: Drugs

Chai is carrying on an operation set up by Kuze before he left the country and traveled to other places. The young boy is smuggling cocaine out of the country by pressure molding them into the shape of turtles and ostriches and then painting them and passing them off as ordinary souvenirs.

2. 'Red Data' - Due to his way of life, the refugees gave Kuze a nickname. What does this name mean?

Answer: Wanderer

Ronin or Ro as they called him, means wanderer. They named him this due to the fact that he wanders from one refugee camp to another, just observing the people and snapping photos of them with his camera.

3. 'Trans Parent' - A Special episode based away from the main story. Motoko and Batou are on the trail of a mass terrorist, but which recovering capital are they in?

The mass terrorist in the episode has a daughter in Berlin and every time he goes to commit a new act of terrorism he always goes back to Germany to visit his daughter first.

As his terrorist M.O., he plants a bomb in buildings that have all four outer walls made of glass. Once the explosion goes off and all the glass is shattered, the light is caught in the falling shards and they glisten as they fall, giving the image of feathers of an angel. His first act alone was noted as having the most deaths in one single terrorist act.

Yano and Azuma are the 2 newest rookies to Section 9, but aren't seen very much in 'Second Gig'. Azuma goes on to be Togusa's partner and a major character in both 'Solid State Society' and the 'Anime' novels. But unfortunately poor Yano gets his career cut short by fire from the refugees.

He is at a dock exactly the same as the one that Section 9 attacks. He tricks
Motoko into going to the wrong one. He is at the other dock buying plutonium from the Russian Mafia.

She finds out a lot about Kuze from diving into his cyber brain. She says he is as much of a revolutionary as Che Guevara or Malcolm X and as much of a hero as Martin Luther King or Gandhi.

Kuze has been stealing the money from the banks of ordinary citizens of Japan without them even realizing, because he steals the tiny amount at the very end of peoples bank balance, a digit that isn't even 1 yen. He realizes that if he takes just that small amount it accumulates to tens of thousands a day and up to now he has stolen 10,760,000,000 yen.

He was once in the Yakuza, one of the strongest and most brutal gangs in the world, but his contacts and connections in the Japanese underworld make him a valuable asset to Section 9.
