1. 'Inductance' - Who wrote the ten essays on liberation and revolution and the illusive eleventh essay, entitled 'The Individual 11'?

Answer: Patrick Sylvester

Patrick Sylvester wrote the first nine essays about historic revolutions, a tenth one about an event he himself witnessed and an eleventh based on the incident that occurred in Japan.
2. 'Inductance' - What was sent to the home of Prime Minister Kayabuki to scare her?

Answer: A box containing eleven fingers

On May 15th, eleven young military officers assassinated the Prime Minister, but due to their heart-felt defense statements a large majority of the public sympathized with them. Sympathizers sent a box containing eleven fingers to the courthouse, representing the number of defendants.

The terrorist on this occurrence sent a box of eleven fingers to the Prime Minister in imitation of the May 15th incident, to tell her she was in for the same fate as the assassinated Prime Minister.
3. 'Excavation' - In this episode what once-great city does Togusa visit?

Answer: Tokyo

Tokyo, now a mere slum since half of it sunk into the sea and the rest is a mess left behind after the war, is the last known location of the man Togusa is investigating the murder of.
4. 'Excavation' - Why was Kotan Kamji killed?

Answer: He knew something he shouldn't

After witnessing an accident at the nuclear plant he was excavating and witnessing all his work mates get buried inside the plant to cover up the accident. Kotan decided he had to expose the scandal and let the public know. For that, he was killed.
5. 'Pu239' - What was in the cases that Section 9 removed from the refugee district?

Answer: Nothing

They were meant to be transporting plutonium but the cases were empty. They were tricked into being a decoy.
6. 'Pu239' - Ghoda told one of the GSDA soldiers that one of the refugees was carrying a pistol, thus igniting carnage. What was he actually holding?

Answer: A pipe

Ghoda said it was a gun, but he was actually holding a small piece of pipe, resulting in the needless slaughter of numerous refugees. This sparked off even more refugee uprising, but could that have been Ghoda's intent?
7. 'Fake Food' - This episode shows that Ghoda is manipulating people for his own ends. Who is he playing for a fool in this episode, beside Section 9?

Answer: Section 1

Here we see Ghoda play Section 9 and Section 1 off against each other in order to further his own deluded aims.
8. 'Fake Food' - In this episode Batou explains to Togusa the life of having a full prosthetic body. What sense does he say is Nostalgic?

Answer: Taste

Batou explains that even a cyborg still craves small things from human life such as the taste of food. That's why nostalgia foods were created for people who are fully prosthetic.
9. Character Profile Batou: What is the name of the armed forces unit Batou was a member of before he joined Section 9?

Answer: The Rangers

Batou was a member of an armed forces unit called The Rangers. It wasn't the greatest time for him, as he saw some rather disturbing things, but it saves his life further into this series.
10. Character Profile Batou: What is the pastime Batou 'wastes' his time and money on according to Togusa?

Answer: Weight training gear

Batou is constantly buying more and more weight training gear and working out, regardless of the fact that his body is completely prosthetic, so his muscles cannot grow no matter how much he trains and he is already extremely strong.
