Answer: The refugees

Due to all of the bad press they have received, the trouble caused by the Individual 11, and the trouble Ghoda caused in 'Pu239' the refugees decide to strike back with a run of suicide bombings to show that they mean business.

2. 'Ambivalence' - Motoko is trying to find out a bit more about Ghoda and how much of a threat he is. Which of these does she not find out about Ghoda?

Answer: He is Togusa's dad

He was a linguistics expert with Greater Japan Research & Technology and created technology called radioactive fallout scrubbers which made Japan one of the leading powers during two world wars, but he didn't get the credit he felt he deserved, which is why he now controls the individual 11.

Answer: Bribery

Togusa is in the stands for firing his gun while off the clock and the prosecutor uses a different array of tactics to make Togusa look like the guilty party and clear his client who murdered the young girl.

4. 'Trial' - Fortunately for Togusa, Motoko jumps to his aid, how does she do this?

Answer: She hacks Togusa's cyber brain

She hacks Togusa's cyber brain and takes full control of his body making him reveal some secret evidence he didn't know about, thus incriminating the murderer, the prosecutor, the DA, and even Ghoda. The Judge throws out the case of Togusa and he is cleared.

He endlessly folded paper cranes as his way of remembering the girl, who was in the bed beside him, who he believed had died.

Togusa is the best sharp shooter in section 9 with a single hand held weapon, to a certain degree even better that the major.

Togusa uses the Mateba while everyone else in section 9 uses the Seburo M5. This difference in taste comes into question during the episode trial of why he uses a different weapon to everyone else, even though this has no bearing on the case.
