1. Which character was the prisoner on the plane?

Answer: Kate

In the second episode the U.S. marshall wakes up and tells Jack to look in his breast pocket, after Jack does so he sees a mug shot of Kate. It shows flashbacks of how Kate was arrested in the third episode.

2. Which character previously couldn't walk?

Answer: Locke

In the fourth episode, a series of flashbacks reveals that Locke couldn't walk before the crash. However he doesn't tell anyone until later in the season, when he tells Boone, who later died.

3. What is the surname of the so-called "Ethan"?

Answer: Rom

Ethan tells Hurley when he is recording all of the survivors names. After Hurley realises he should use the manifest, he sees that Ethan Rom was not on the plane!

4. What is Hurley's real name?

Answer: Hugo Reyes

When Hurley decides to record the names of all of the survivors he tells Jack that his real name is Hugo Reyes. It is also told in the episode "Numbers".

5. What is Sawyer's real first name?

Answer: James

Sawyer tells Kate after she realises that he wrote the message to the so-called 'Sawyer'. She also calls him James a few times in the second half of the series.

When Locke and Boone are looking for Walt's dog Vincent, they hear noises in the bushes, and there walks in Claire. After this they bring he back to Jack, but she has forgotten everything! She wakes up screaming, "Who are you?".

The white labrador walks past Jack and is not seen later that episode. However later Jack discovers this is Walt's dog, Locke then makes a dog whistle and Vincent comes running back.

Walt gives it to Shannon after her brother Boone dies. Walt says that he talked to Vincent after his mother died and he thought Vincent might help her recover from Boone's death.

Charlie mentions it in many of the first few episodes, in the "Pilot", when Jack, Kate and Charlie are walking up the hill, Kate says she recognises Charlie. Charlie sings "You All Everybody" and Kate remembers that he was in Driveshaft.
