From the events of series 6's episode "Out of Time" iall of the Indian food supplies were destroyed, much to Lister's sadness. So he devised a plan to get his order of curry. They'd go back to the ship to get the time machine, go back in time and eventually get an order of Indian food.

But they accidentally got knocked into Dallas, Texas on November 22, 1963 into the Texas School Book Depository. They beamed into the building just as Oswald was about to take his shot on President Kennedy, knocking him out of the window and onto the ledge. Oswald eventually fell out of the building after getting back inside and got killed as a result.

After going back in time again to fix history Oswald missed his shot and Kennedy was later sent to prison. The Dwarfers used the time device to go to Idlewild Airport where the disgraced Kennedy was being taken to prison. Lister talked Kennedy to going back in time to shoot himself from the Grassy Knoll.

This was the third shot that killed Kennedy. After their version of Kennedy disappeared Lister exclaimed about his curry situation. Cat, Lister and Rimmer beat him up for the comment.

7. "Epideme" Kochanski: "Okay, last roll of the dice. Dave, I'm gonna stop your heart, okay?" Kryten and Cat: "What!?" Kochanski (to Lister): "It's the last chance to save you, do you agree?" Lister: "You're gonna prevent Epideme from killing me by killing me..?" Kochanski: "I'll take that as a ______..."

Lister became infected with the Epideme virus from the dead body of Caroline Carmen who bit him, thus infecting him. In an effort to save him Kryten and Kochanski cut off his right arm in pieces to stop the virus, which didn't work. So in a brilliant move Kochanski left the medical bay and returned with her red jacket on, stopped Lister's heart and the virus bit her hand. So she amputated the left arm. Both Kryten and Cat were so shocked with Kryten stuttering and Cat fainting.

Then Kochanski revealed she had used Caroline Carmen's arm in place of her own using the jacket to hide it.

8. "Back in the Red" First Ground Controller: "This is Ground Control to Midget Three. You don't appear to have flight clearance. Please state your name and clearance code." The Cat: "Ground Control, this is...uh..." Lister: "(whispers) ____________." The Cat: "____________."

In an attempt to leave Red Dwarf to repair their good names, the four entered a Blue Midget to flee. I didn't get this until years later but it's a reference to the David Bowie song "Space Oddity".

9. "Krytie TV" Rimmer: (Final scene, Rimmer is reading Lister's appeal letter) "'Dear Mr Lister, your appeal has been successful! From this day forth ______ with no history of violence or depression will be allowed...(face aghast)...to have strings on their guitars.' This appeal was all about guitar strings?" Lister: "You didn't think it was about getting out of here did you?"

A fellow inmate wanted to reprogram Kryten to infiltrate the ladies' shower for the men's pleasure. On Red Dwarf they had classified Kryten as "female" as he had no male parts to speak of. In their way of playing practical jokes on what was supposed to be Kochanski's boyfriend, Lister and Rimmer trashed the guy's room. Only during a viewing of "Krytie TV" did they discover that the room actually belonged to the man in charge of their appeals. So both Lister and Rimmer hurriedly cleaned up the room and their appeal was accepted.

10. "Pete" Lister: "Holly, we need your advice, mate. We've been cornered by a T-Rex that was formerly a sparrow, and the only thing that can turn it back into Woody Woodpecker is in its stomach. What's your take on the situation?" Holly: "What do you want? The long or the short ______?"
