Nicholas Brendan may best be known as Xander from "Buffy the Vampire Slayer", and Kit Harington as Jon Snow from "Game of Thrones".
10. Mary Alice Young

The series started off with the mysterious suicide of a seemingly happy housewife named Mary Alice. Mary Alice, also known as Angela Forrest, had many secrets. Brenda Strong narrated over many episodes of the series, sort of like an angel watching over her friends. It was revealed that someone had blackmailed Mary Alice, causing her to take her own life. The secret she held was that she bought a child from a drug addict named Deidre. Deidre was the missing woman Mike Delfino was trying to find.
Brenda Strong has since appeared on "Scandal", "Dallas" (2012), "Bones", and the CW series "The 100". Carol Potter played Cindy Walsh on "Beverly Hills, 90210", Kristine Sutherland played Buffy's mom Joyce on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer", and Moira Kelly played Lucas' mom Karen on "One Tree Hill".
