You can find the Hexadragon monster in the large forests north of Esthar City. (Somewhere else maybe?) Using the 'scan' magic on them reveals that they have six eyes.

Using one of the doors on the side of Ultimecia Castle leads in the forest north of Esthar. Go to the Chocobo Forest and travel all the way south. The Ragnarok is in the desert. (Spoiler?)

An easy way to get Energy Crystals, by fighting them, using the 'mug' ability.
