Cassima leaves you a hair ribbon, which is red, but it's not what you want. To lure the monster to his death, you must make use of the red scarf that the Red Queen drops on your first visit to Chessboard Land.

The Druids are in the midst of performing a rain festival when they pick you up. If you don't cast the "Make Rain Spell", things will get pretty toasty, and not in a good way.

On your first visit to the city of the Winged Ones, the guards mention their island's sacred golden fleece being stolen by spies sent by the Queens of the Isle of Wonder. Later, you discover that the vizier (or an accomplice) had actually stolen it.

When you've found Dangling Participle on the Isle of Wonder, Bookworm hands over a rare book, a book of riddles. One of them is ripped out of the book, and later you find the answer in Black Widow's web. Then, when you're visiting the Realm of the Dead, to get past Gate, you must answer his riddle. The answer, of course, is love.

Cassima mentions in her letter that she can prevail if she has some small means of defense. Then, when you're talking to her with the wall in between you both, she says she believes she can escape if she has a small weapon. The scythe is, by no means, small, and according to her, the skeleton key would not do her any good.
