1. What is the name of the Goomba who joins Mario's party at the start of the game?

Answer: Goombella

Goombella is a pink female university student. She is a good jumper and carries a book which describes every enemy and character in the game. Her abilities are essential for when you are stuck in the game or finding an enemy tough to kill.

2. Is it possible to control Princess Peach?

Answer: Yes

Although she cannot battle, you can control Princess Peach in the X-Naut's base. She can dance with herself in a fun mini-game and she teaches a 'perfect' computer all about love, fun and such other feelings.

3. Is it possible to control Bowser?

Answer: Yes

You can also control Bowser in this game as well as Mario and Princess Peach. You cannot enter any battles as Bowser but you can control him in spoof levels of the original "Super Mario" games. He can breathe fire and grow as tall as the screen.

4. What noise does Hooktail the Dragon hate?

Answer: Cricket croaks

Hooktail dislikes the noise of crickets. Equipping the cricket noise badge before the battle with him stops his concentration during the big battle with him.

Lord Crump is Grodus' main henchman. He first fights Mario and Goombella at the start of the game, he later battles Mario in his robot, Magnus. On Keyhaul Key, he battles Mario on his pirate ship and in the final chapter, he battles Mario in an updated robot.

You have to feel sorry for Vivian as her sisters always bully her and blame her for Beldam's mistakes. However, she realises she should turn against her sisters and help Mario.

Mario can turn in to a boat to help him sail, a tube to fit through tight spaces, a piece of paper to go in short gaps and a paper plane to glide across chasms.

A lot of characters cheer on Mario before his battle with Shadow Queen. Koops' father and girlfriend cheer Koops on, Professor Frankly cheers on Goombella, Flurrie is cheered on by the Puni tribe, Vivian is cheered by a woman in Twilight Town and Bobbery is cheered on by his shipmates. Sadly, nobody cheers Ms. Mowz as she is a secret character.
