1. Which child wants to disguise their dog as a Frostbite Spider?

Answer: Frodnar

Frodnar is constantly trying to prank other people. His idea is to paint some furs and tree branches white and stick them onto his dog, Stump. His friend Dorthe isn't convinced, as she thinks that even if people believe the disguise, they'll just kill Stump anyway.

2. Who owns Hollyfrost Farm, just outside of Windhelm?

Answer: Torsten Cruel-Sea

Torsten's wife Hillevi, sells produce from the farm at the Windhelm market. Torsten will also mention his ownership of the farm to you when you walk by him in Windhelm.

3. How does Jarl Balgruuf's daughter Dagny like her meat?

Answer: Rare

When you talk to Dagny inside Dragonsreach, she will say "One of the new servants? Remember that I like my meat rare." She is the the stereotypical royal child, where nothing appears to be good enough. She can also be heard complaining to her siblings about a dress promised to her by her father, which is yet to arrive.

4. Belethor, Whiterun's General Goods merchant, often jokes about buying and selling what?

Answer: Family Members

Upon first talking to Belethor, he will claim "If I had a sister, I'd sell her in a second!" and will also jokingly agree to buy your relatives - if you're looking to sell. Besides from having one of the best sets of muttonchops in the game, Belethor also looks rather sarcastically at Skyrim and its current events. Ask him why he moved here and you'll get a string of ironic reasons, winding up with why the Player would bother asking him such a stupid question in the first place.

5. Which citizen of Riften is an active follower of Dibella?

Answer: Haelga

Brynjolf will mention that stealing her Dibella statue could help you extort protection money from her for the Thieves Guild. Also Haelga's niece Svana will tell you about her Aunt's Dibellan practises, claiming she's bedded 3 different men recently. On inspection of her bedroom, there's even a set of shackles attached to her bed!

6. The Whiterun guards will point you in the direction of a cave called White River Watch and mention a particular bandit is hiding out there. What is the bandit's name?

Answer: Hajvarr Iron-Hand

You can be sent to White River Watch on a number of different radiant quests. The other 3 options all lead different groups of bandits, but Hajvarr is the only one found at this location.

7. Often one of the first rumours you hear in the game is about someone trying to contact the Dark Brotherhood. Who is it?

Answer: Aventus Aretino

Aventus was put into Honorhall Orphanage after his mother died. He runs away and attempts to hire the Dark Brotherhood to kill the headmistress, Grelod the Kind. The other 3 options are all children still living at the orphanage.

8. Bards in various inns like to sing "Ragnar the Red". What is the name of the Shieldmaiden who kills Ragnar in the song?

Answer: Matilda

"Ragnar the Red" and "The Dragonborn Comes" can be sung by the bard at any inn in Skyrim. "The Age of Oppression/Aggression" has two versions which are used in different locations depending on which side of the civil war is in control.

9. Upon talking to her about her aspirations as a trader, Ysolda will ask for your help in getting what for her?

Answer: A Mammoth's Tusk

Not an easy task, but Ysolda will give you some free Speech training in return for bringing the Mammoth's Tusk to her.
Temba Wide-Arm in Ivarstead will ask you to bring the Bear Pelts, Lucan Valerius from Riverwood wants the Golden Dragon's Claw returned to him and Talen-Jei in Riften wants 3 Flawless Amethysts to make a traditional Argonian wedding ring.

Answer: Old Hroldan Inn

Old Hroldan is a very remote inn, but the publican offers the chance to stay in the same bed as Tiber Septim once did. There is also a ghost living here which will give you a quest to return a sword.
