1. We've got two halves of the Mistwrought Key, and we're on our way to open the Mistwrought Vault. Where in Tyria must we be?

Answer: One of the three World vs. World borderlands

World vs. World pits three servers against one another in a battle for supremacy. Each of the three borderland maps is laid out exactly the same, as servers fight to defend their own structures and capture those of the enemy. While each server may have a slight homeground advantage in their own borderland, the Eternal Battleground, a fourth, much larger map, is a veritable battlefield with players battling against one another for bonuses for their home server.

The Mistwrought Vault is contained within a jumping puzzle in each of the borderlands, requiring players to collect two halves of a key before opening the vault and receiving their loot.
2. Where are we if we're battling other players on a giant kodan iceship?

Answer: Temple of the Silent Storm

Temple of the Silent Storm plays out as the other Structured PvP maps do, with teams fighting for three control points. Bonuses will appear periodically, giving teams extra points per kill or extra points for holding control points. The map's overall design is more vertical than others, offering unique opportunities for ambushes and quick escapes.
3. So we're a part of the Order of Whispers, and we're just about to enter their headquarters. Which zone are we in?

Answer: Bloodtide Coast

The Vigil make their base in the northeastern portion of Gendarran Fields, atop the Vigilant Hills, while the Durmand Priory is nestled away inside a mountain in the snow-capped Lornar's Pass. The Order of Whispers' secret base is the Chantry of Secrets, a location found hidden in Bloodtide Coast. Most players may not notice this place during their travels, but it is an important location for those seeking world map completion as it contains a single point of interest.
4. The Shadow Behemoth has emerged from the swamp. We must rally together to take it down. Where are we if we're fighting the Shadow Behemoth?

Answer: Queensdale

The Shadow Behemoth will only spawn if a certain chain of events are completed, upon which it will emerge from Godslost Swamp and begin attacking players. It will periodically create portals to the Underworld which will allow more denizens of that realm to come forth and aid the Behemoth. Its death will spawn a chest with goodies for all who participated in the fight.
5. We've slain Inquest, destroyed golems, and now we're up against Subject Alpha. Where are we if all of this is happening?

Answer: Crucible of Eternity

In much the same way that Giganticus Lupicus is encountered on each explorable path of The Ruined City of Arah, Subject Alpha makes three appearances on each explorable path of the Crucible of Eternity. As a former Inquest experiment, Alpha has some powerful area-of-effect attacks meaning it's wise to constantly be on the move and dodging.

His first two encounters require taking him down to 50% and 25% health, respectively. The third encounter is a fight to the death, hopefully ending in Alpha's demise and not yours.
6. Let's go and meet the skritt king! He can be found in Skrittsburgh, which means we're in which zone?

Answer: Brisban Wildlands

Brisban Wildlands is a 15-25 zone in the Maguuma Jungle, connected to Metrica Province, Caledon Forest and Kessex Hills. Mount Gnashington takes up a large part of the central part of the map, inside which is Skrittsburgh, but despite being a hub for the skritt, it still gets overrun by enemies on occasion, leading to the central royal chamber to be shut off until all is safe again.
7. Where in Tyria are we if we're in the Great Lodge?

Answer: Hoelbrak

Hoelbrak, the city of the norn, boasts five lodges, one for each of the four animal spirits plus the Great Lodge, atop which the great norn Knut Whitebear resides. Eir Stegalkin makes her home at Hoelbreak, at Stonewright's Steading, an instance that norn players will frequently return to during their personal story.

A large frozen lake to the west offers players the chance to participate in the keg brawl mini-game.
8. Aagh! Karka! Karka everywhere! Where must we be if we're surrounded by this troublesome foe?

Answer: Southsun Cove

Southsun Cove was introduced in the 'Lost Shores' update in November 2012. It is a level 80-only map, and home to the karka, a race of quadrupedal, crab-like creatures with one aim: to take you down. Karka shells and passion fruit can be obtained here, which are used in several crafting recipes. An asura gate in Lion's Arch can transport you to this idyllic, if dangerous, destination in the Sea of Sorrows.

Answer: Fractals of the Mists

Also added in the 'Lost Shores' update in November 2012 was the Fractals of the Mists, a new type of dungeon experience which increases in difficulty as players progress through it. Upon its launch, Fractals of the Mists offered nine distinct mini-dungeons, with players completing three randomly-selected fractals to complete one 'level'. Each even-numbered level, however, added a fourth mini-dungeon, a battle against the fearsome Jade Maw.

The Fractals of the Mists also introduced Ascended equipment, which offered both better stats and the ability to have built-in Agony resistance. Agony is a mechanic which ticks away at a player's health.

It cannot be removed like normal conditions, but must be mitigated by infusing Ascended equipment with Agony resistance.
10. We've found our way to Orr and are fighting Zhaitan's minions. Therefore, which of these zones can't we be in?

Answer: Fields of Ruin

With Zhaitan's awakening, the sunken realm of Orr rose from the depths of the ocean and once again became accessible, though Zhaitan's minions, the Risen, now call it home. Players can access Orr through the Straits of Devastation, leaving the relative safety of mainland Tyria and heading to the once holy but now blighted shores. Straits of Devastation is a level 70-75 zone, while its western neighbour, Malchor's Leap, is a level 75-80 zone. Cursed Shore, which runs down the western coast of Orr, is a level 80 area crammed full of the toughest foes in Tyria.

It is here that players can access The Ruined City of Arah, the former home of the gods of Tyria, and confront Zhaitan and his minions.
