Disneyland
Rocket Rods. Because the sponser of the ride wouldn't provide funding for banking on the turns (like Test Track at Epcot) the cars had to slow down and speed up rapidly, and the ride broke down a lot. Not to mention the incredibly long wait for the short ride (although I loved it).

All of these (The open space was turned into a series of caves, Ride capacity was doubled, Abominable Snowman scenes were added). The huge renovation of the Matterhorn made it much, much better than before. The hole from the Skyway ride was filled in around 1994.
1996. The parade had its final performance in Disneyland in Nov. of 1996. It began in 1972. You can now catch the performance in California Adventures.
