Marines, Major. In the beginning of the movie, while Payne was serving in the military he was a major; this was first mentioned when he met the cadets and introduced himself. It was mentioned again at the end of the movie when Payne was offered to be promoted from Major to Lieutenant-Colonel in the Marines.

He slapped a police officer across the face numerous times.. Two weeks after he was kicked out of the Marines Payne decided to try out for a job as a police officer. However when he was asked to show what he would do if a woman said her husband was beating her, he slapped the so called "husband" numerous times across the face.

Wellington Academy. Westington was the school they went to when they tried to steal the trophy so Payne would quit his job. It was also the school that won the relay race by knocking down Alex, and that resulted in a fight to avenge their honor.

You have the biggest chest.. The cadets tried to get Payne fired by dressing Bryan in a dress and then taking a picture of him with Payne in bed. Unfortunately Payne woke up so they couldn't take the picture and then the next day Payne made all the cadets march in dresses around the school.

The Little Engine that Could. Payne had mentioned the "Little Rascals" and "The Three Little Pigs" but Tiger had never heard of the story of "The Little Engine That Could" so Payne told it to him. While Payne told him the story he also started talking about being in a war and how the train conductor got his eyes blown out of their sockets and how someone got their legs chopped off.

Washington. He was supposed to go to Washington to get briefed the morning the Virginia Military Games began, but ended up going to the train station because he loved Emily Walburn, the school nurse. Eventually they got married and adopted Tiger as their son.

A field knife. Payne told Tiger to get the field knife so he could shave the new cadet's hair off because he was talking back. However Payne also shaved the hair off the kid's dog.
