"Places in the Heart" took place in the 1930s, and had a tornado.. "Places in the Heart" was the story of a widow named Edna Spalding (Sally Field in an Oscar-winning performance) who fought to keep her farm by bringing in a crop of cotton with the help of two boarders. Edna and Moze, who were plowing when Moze first noticed the wind picking up, tried to get the animals in the barn while Mr. Will went in search of Possum. Joan Crawford. Jack Carson and Dennis Morgan (playing themselves) were trying to get the studio head to notice the young woman, Judy (Doris Day), so he would cast her in their movie. They were at a dress shop helping Judy with wardrobe, when Joan (who was sitting behind them knitting) overhead them talking about who had Judy what day and what dress she'd have on. Joan indignantly told them they should be ashamed of themselves, but Jack said she didn't understand. Joan launched into the "I've never denied you anything" speech her character of Mildred Pierce gave to daughter Veda in "Mildred Pierce". Both men looked completely puzzled as she went on "...Get out. Get your things out of here before I throw them into the street and you with them. Get out before I kill you." Joan slapped Jack, then Dennis, and in response to Jack's question, gave her pert answer before flouncing off.

Monkey. Larry discovered on his first shift that all the exhibits at the museum came to life at night. On his second night, he thought he had taken care of Dexter's key stealing antics by allowing him to steal a set of plastic keys. When he saw all the animals running around, Larry found out that Dexter had somehow stolen the real keys anyway, and was flaunting them. After a brief stop at the Neanderthal exhibit to put out a fire (the cavemen loved the fire extinguisher foam, and threw some at Larry), he finally caught up with Dexter. Larry was just moving in to grab the keys when Dexter slapped him. They exchanged quite a few slaps before Teddy came along and stopped them. After Teddy (who, because of the foam, asked if Larry was rabid) got the keys from Dexter by asking nicely, a frustrated Larry handed the keys to Teddy and said he was quitting.
