'Is there anybody out there?'. The lyrics to 'Comfortably Numb' are 'Is there anybody IN there'
'we came in'. You have to listen kind of hard to make this out, but it is there.
'One of my Turns'. I love it when Pink goes crazy and sings the line about his favourite axe!
'Empty Spaces'. Roger Waters delivers the hidden message, the text of which is as follows: 'Congratulations, you have discovered the secret message. Please send your answer to 'Old Pink', care of the funny farm...'
'In The Flesh?'. Not much separating the actual answer from my cunning decoy. Did you get it right?
Gunsmoke. The name of the episode of 'Gunsmoke' used in the track is 'Fandango'. You learn something new every day, non?
'Don't Leave Me Now'. From 'The Wall'
'Their fat and psychopathic wives would thrash them within inches of their lives'? | Pink Floyd Lyrics
|
'The Happiest Days of Our Lives'. From 'The Wall'
'Sheep'. From the album 'Animals'

'Hey You'. Also from the album 'The Wall'
'Goodbye Blue Sky'. From the album 'The Wall'
'New car, caviar, four-star daydream, think I'll buy me a football team'? | Pink Floyd Lyrics

'Money'. From the album 'Dark Side of the Moon'
'When the Tigers Broke Free'. From the greatest hits compilation 'Echoes'. Also in the movie 'The Wall', but not on the album of the same title.
'Sorrow'. From the album 'A Momentary Lapse of Reason'
'High Hopes'. From the album 'The Division Bell'
"I mean, they're not gunna kill ya, so if you give 'em a quick short,
sharp, shock, they won't do it again. Dig it? I mean he get off lightly, 'cos I would've given him a thrashing - I only hit him once!
It was only a difference of opinion, But really...I mean good manners
don't cost nothing do they, eh?" | Pink Floyd's "Dark Side Of The Moon" Lyrics

Us And Them. On "Us And Them", a brief interlude gives us this spoken clip. It sort of works to illustrate the brutality of the song in words, and the fighting theme that's present throughout the song.
The Great Gig In The Sky. The music on this track was written by Wright and the vocals sung by Clare Torry, the soloist and background vocalist on the album. It is mostly an instrumental and vocal track, except for this clip of someone's voice at the beginning.
Which song kicks off with these words? "It was just before dawn, one miserable morning in black '44." | Pink Floyd Opening Lines
|
When The Tigers Broke Free. From the 2004 reissue of 'The Final Cut', Floyd's last album with Roger Waters.
Grantchester Meadows. Taken From 'Ummagumma'. The cover for "Ummagumma" is particularly interesting, and like most other Pink Floyd album covers, was designed by Storm Thorgerson, the genius behind Hipgnosis.
These are the first few lines of which song? "You cannot reach me now, no matter how you try, goodbye cruel world it's over, walk on by." | Pink Floyd Opening Lines
|
Waiting For The Worms. Taken From 'The Wall'. A bit misleading that one, "Goodbye Cruel World" is the last track on the first half of the double album, and is reprised at the beginning of "Waiting For The Worms".
Which song begins with this? "Into the distance, a ribbon of black Stretched to the point of no turning back." | Pink Floyd Opening Lines
|
Learning To Fly. Taken From 'Momentary Lapse Of Reason'.
Echoes. Taken From 'Meddle'. "Echoes", Pink Floyd's most epic track, is precisely 23:31 long. It took up a whole side on the vinyl!
