    Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix

After getting the Boogie Booster you can finally enter the hazard that was preventing you from getting the Music Key earlier. You must dance in order to get through the hazard. The song "In The Whirlpool is being played while you're going through the hazard. What famous song is "In The Whirlpool" based on?Let's Dance

Pomp and Circumstance. "Pomp and Circumstance" is a famous song known mostly from graduation ceremonies. We will continue the end of World 2 and Worlds 3-5 on the next addition of this quiz. Until next time. -SandK

After completing the Ukkiki Mini-Game, you drop into your old buddy Lakitu again who is running another store. In this store he has on display a Boogie Booster which is handy for a certain part of the world. What is the name of the song you duel him with?Let's Dance

Fishing Frenzy. Again, this includes a song from each world. You must battle Lakitu in a fishing duel, but you're dancing most of the time. Isn't that a bit fishy?! *crowd boos* Yeah I know that was terrible!

After fixing the hotel, the owner tells you where the second music key must be. After a disaster occurs, you land on an island with your partner. You then play a game that involves Ukkiki the monkey. What is the mini-game called?Let's Dance

Banana Storm. "Banana Storm" is the only real game on this list. This involves Mario running beneath 3 Ukkikis trying to catch bananas that they drop in a basket. In this game you use the left and right arrows to run from tree to tree. Sometimes Ukkiki tricks you by dropping bananas or by dropping a Spiny. If you catch a Spiny, you can't move for a while.

After running into Tweester, you unravel a hotel into a corkscrew and the owner comes screaming out. Who is the owner of the hotel?Let's Dance

Toadette. Toadette, ever since her first appearance in "Mario Kart: Double Dash," has been appearing in a lot of games, and "Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix" is no exception. In this stage you must dance to an awesome techno remix of the "Super Mario Bros. 3" main theme which is called, "Jump! Jump! Jump!"

After defeating Waluigi, you play a short mini-game that involves coins and/or items, then you head off to World 2. World 2 mostly resembles what?Let's Dance

An ocean. The field was World 1, an amusement park is World 3, and a frosty mountain is World 4. There is also a very short world based on Bowser's Castle which is World 5.

After helping Lakitu you play a short mini-game called "Flagpole Leap," then you go to Truffle Towers where you find Waluigi with a Music Key waiting. You must battle him in a dance-off to get the key back. What game is the song based on?Let's Dance

Wrecking Crew. This is an old-school NES game. The song is called "Destruction Dance," and is one of my favorites in the game. In Mush Mode, you must stomp on Podoboos in order to keep Bob-ombs diffused. This is your first duel game where you dance off against Waluigi who is a very easy foe since it is World 1. After beating him you get your first music key.

After getting out of the pipe, you run across Lakitu who runs a store. He has the Key to Truffle Tower on display but will not give it to you unless you do him a favor by dancing. What is the name of the song you dance to when you do the favor?Let's Dance

Garden Boogie. Each of these is a dance of the four worlds. "Garden Boogie" involves you dancing to keep Koopas out of Lakitu's carrot patch. "Jump! Jump! Jump!" is from World 2 and involves you fixing a hotel of Toadette's. "Hammer Dance," is a duel against the Hammer Bros. of World 3. "Frozen Pipes" is the first song of World 4 involving you to dance to get through a warp pipe. The song, "Garden Boogie" is based on the famous opera, "Carmen."

After beating the mini-game you get to Truffle Towers where the Music Keys are kept safe. However, Waluigi spoils your fun by dropping a Bob-omb on you and sends Mario into a green pipe which is too deep for him to jump out of. Mario must dance to a song by a famous composer. Which famous composer does Mario dance to?Let's Dance

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. All except for Sousa are famous composers from Europe. Sousa was known as the father of marches conducting famous songs such as "Stars and Stripes", but that's not what this question is about. The name of this song, "Underground Mozart," should have given the answer away.

After the first song you go to a warp pipe. However there is an enemy in the pipe and you must play a mini-game to enter it. What game must you play to enter the warp-pipe?Let's Dance

Whack-A-Goomba. Goombas the helpless evil mushrooms pop out of four pipes and you must whack them with your Hammer of Doom. You have to get at least ten to clear the game even though it's very easy to beat that record. You must use the arrow buttons to hit them.

The first song in story mode is called "Here We Go!" This is based on which Mario game?Let's Dance

Super Mario Bros.. Several songs such as "Here We Go!" and "Blooper Bop," are based on songs from "Super Mario Bros". "Super Mario World" makes an appearance as the secret song for World 2.

In story mode, who accompanies Mario?Let's Dance

Toad. Toad, the annoying person who can never seem to protect Princess Peach, is back. He always makes excuses as to why he can't dance but he provides some good comic relief in the game.

What is unique about Easy Mode?Let's Dance

It only has left and right arrows. Easy Mode, is very... well easy. Mush Mode which contains enemies and coins is only available in Normal Mode and up. Up and down arrows likewise only appear in Normal Mode.

The first song in the game is "Left, Right, Up, Down." This is a very easy song based off what little ditty?Let's Dance

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. This is a very easy song designed to get you started if you have never played, "Dance Dance Revolution" before. It introduces you to all the arrows as you dance in space on a star.

The first thing you may want to do is go to the workout menu and keep track of how many calories you burn during a song. What button, on the character select screen, do you press to switch between names?Let's Dance

Z button. The left and right buttons will just switch between difficulties while the start button will obviously start you. The workout option is very useful, because it tells in total how many calories you burn when you select your character. Also on the workout screen, it shows how many calories you burned using the dance pad in the time you just played, and also tells how many calories you had burned in the past times you used the dance pad.

If you watch the introductory video all the way through, you see the basic plot line of the story. Who broke the seal to the Music Keys?Let's Dance

Waluigi. All of the following are bosses in the game except for Lakitu. However, you do face him in a duel in World 2. Waluigi is the boss for World 1, a Giant Blooper is the boss of World 2, Wario is the boss of World 3, a Giant Freezie is the boss of World 4, and Bowser of course is the boss of World 5.

How many buttons does the Dance pad have?Let's Dance

eight . There are eight buttons on the Dance Pad most of them based on the Gamecube controller. The buttons are Z, A, B, Start, Down, Up, Left, and Right. Unlike the Gamecube controller there are no X, Y, or C buttons.

Which button do you hold on the Dance pad, while dancing to quit a song?Let's Dance

Start. This, however, gives you an automatic F rating not counting any of the arrows you hit. The start button also allows you to pause the game or confirm options.

What does the manual suggest you place around the Dance Pad?Let's Dance

cushions. The dance pad can be very slippery at times especially if it gets covered with sweat or other liquids. Cushions should be placed around the Dance Pad just in case you fall. This way the cushions will- well, cushion your fall, if you happen to.

According to the manual, is it OK to wear shoes when dancing?Let's Dance

No. Shoes can damage the sensors in the pad, because of the weight and hard surface. Also it can be dangerous because you could slip and fall. The manual also advises not to wear socks.

Your ship has been very faithful across your journey. What is the name of your ship?Let's Dance Again!

S S Brass . The S.S. Brass can change into an airship, a boat, and a submarine. After getting all the songs, you get a new mini-game called "Fire Up The S.S. Brass." This is a very difficult game. There are four exits and you have to figure out which one the S.S. Brass should go through. I hope you enjoyed this quiz. Until next time this is SandK saying keep on dancing!

There are four new songs you can buy at the store after completing the game once. The song bought from World 3 is based on which game?Let's Dance Again!

Super Mario Bros.. The song called "Where's the Exit" is the secret song bought in World 3. This song is one of the classics as it is a dance based on the underground theme in "Super Mario Bros." The other three songs are based on "Lovely Meadow," "Super Mario World," and the "Famicon system," released only in Japan.

You beat the game, but there's still more to do! After beating the game there's a new mode called EX mode. How many new songs are in Mush Mode, considering you don't buy the new ones in the store?Let's Dance Again!

Six. The six new songs appear in every level except World 5. The new songs are based on various songs. Some are classical such as "Pipe Pop" which is an awesome disco version of "Turkish Dance." Others are based on old-school video game such as the one in the haunted house in World 3 which is based on "Donkey Kong Arcade."

Ok at last Bowser is defeated, but why did Bowser take the music keys?Let's Dance Again!

To cure his tone deafness. After Bowser admits this Mario uses the Music Keys to make the surroundings of Bowser Castle a beautiful field. It's a pretty awesome ending and Bowser actually gets a happy ending as some music is implanted in his soul and he dances a bit.

The final battle is finally underway. Bowser challenges you to a dance-off. The song that he chooses is very appropriate to the dance off. What is the name of the song that Bowser challenges you to?Let's Dance Again!

Bowsers Castle. "Bowser's Castle" is by far the hardest song in the game. "Bowser's Castle" was taken from the awesome game "Mario Kart: Double Dash". In "Mario Kart: Double Dash," the music is very slow and eerie. In "Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix" that's a completley different story! The remix of that tune is basically fusion rock and the arrows go by so fast it would almost make your head spin.

Well the Music Keys are safe again, right? Wrong! What is a Mario game without Bowser? Bowser of course comes and steals the music keys and enters World 5. When you start coming in on Bowser's castle you are fired on by Bowser with a very popular Mario enemy. Which of Mario's enemies do you have to dance to avoid in the first stage of World 5?Let's Dance Again!

Bullet Bills. Bullet Bills are fired at your ship during the song "Always Smiling." Banzai Bills were the humongous Bullet Bills in "Super Mario World." Paratroopas do not appear in this game.

OK, now that you have all four music keys, you return to Truffle Towers. You play the game, "Flagpole Leap" again when returning to Truffle Towers. What is the maximum score you can get on this mini-game?Let's Dance Again!

5000. Depending on how you do, you get a hefty amount of coins. If you get the maximum score of 5000, you get fifty coins right in your wallet. This is one of the easier mini-games to collect coins.

OK, now you have the fourth Music Key...you have all four! Time for an easy trip home- or so it would seem. When you go down the mountain an avalanche starts chasing after you and of course you have to dance to stop it. The stage's name is based on a popular Christmas carol. Which carol is also the stage's name?Let's Dance Again!

Sleigh Ride. "Sleigh Ride" is one of the Christmas carols that is more popular along with other such novelty songs such as "Jingle Bells" and "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer". The song "Rendezvous on Ice" is a very slow song which makes it fairly simple. There a few traps such as notes very close together, but the song overall is fairly easy to get an A rating on.

After avoiding the avalanche you finally reach the top of the mountain where a gigantic Freezie has the Music Key lodged in his head. Toad suggests you melt the Freezie with your hot dance moves. The Freezie doesn't like the sound of that and challenges you to a song called "Deep Freeze." Which song is "Deep Freeze" based on?Let's Dance Again!

Fever from "Dr. Mario". "Fever" from the popular puzzle game "Dr. Mario," is very upbeat and is usually the more popular of the two tunes. "Chill" kind of has a minor feel to it but it would be interesting to see it as a dance remix. "Fever" though is an awesome remix giving it a more techno feel like most of the other songs on this game.

Now that the storm has passed and you danced yourself warm again you start the only mini-game in this world. It's called "Avalanche!" Surprsingly, this is not the only "Mario" game that has contained a mini-game named "Avalanche!" Which other "Mario" game had the mini-game?Let's Dance Again!

Mario Party 4 . In "Mario Party 4" you had to ski down a slope while avoiding rocks, walls and jumping off ramps. In "Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix," this game is closely related to the other mini-game "Banana Storm." Except instead of trying to catch something you're trying to avoid something which in this game are gigantic snowballs.

After getting through the pipe, Toad complains again and says he is getting cold. Luckily, to put a stop to his whining there is a cabin nearby which again starts another song. This time you are dancing to a song called "Cabin Fever," which is based on which game? Let's Dance Again!

Mario Party 5. Sadly this is the only song based on a "Mario Party" game. The song takes a while to get used to as it feels as if the arrows are on the off beat instead of on the beat, but it eventually starts to sync in.

Now that you have three music keys, you are about to go to World 4 in the freezing cold. Toad says that you can't climb up the mountain because it's too slippery. You have to go down a pipe to get up the mountain. The background is strangely familiar to what other song?Let's Dance Again!

Underground Mozart. The song in this stage is called "Frozen Pipes," and is based on "Old Folks at Home." The main goal of this stage is to jump out of the pipe, which is really confusing because didn't you jump in the pipe in the first place. Anyways, basically the same as "Underground Mozart" and "Pipe Pop." You are on a pedestal in front of a lot of enemies including Pirahna Plants and Mr. Blizzards.
