Shirley. Although Shirley calls Senel "brother", implying that they are related, it is revealed that Senel and Shirley are not genetically related. More cut scenes reveal that Stella is Shirley's older sister and that Senel was in love with Stella. After Senel and Shirley had to escape from the town they were in as it was being attacked by Vaclav, Senel and Shirley started living together and calling each other brother and sister. Stella was captured and it is later revealed that she was controlling the Legacy and had become the Legacy.
C. Norma came up with a nickname for every main playable character and several non-playable characters as well. Once Chloe and Shirley become friends, Shirley also calls Chloe "C". Chloe cannot swim and is afraid of water. She also has a crush on Senel, but Senel ends up choosing Shirley instead of Chloe.
Yes. Although Harriet thought the flower wasn't real at first, it is revealed at the end of Will's character quest that flower in her hairpin is real. Will and Amelia had found a rare flower that only bloomed during a lunar eclipse and would crystalize once the moonlight hits it. Will had named the flower "Harriet" and named his daughter Harriet as well, after Amelia had requested Will come up with a name for their unborn child.
Man-eating Ruins. Grune seems like a space cadet at first, but she gets her memory back during her character quest. Grune is a powerful spell caster and has the most water based spells of all the spell casters.
He was banished there. Will had been caught attending his wife, Amelia's, funeral. Since Amelia, whom was from a rich and important family, had eloped with Will, Will was seen as stealing her away. It was part of Amelia's will that Will not be killed. As a result, he was banished to the Legacy.
Senel. The Quiet Nerifes initially rejected Senel because his will was unresolved. Senel had been hanging onto the image of Stella, who had died, and had rejected Shirley when she confessed her love for Senel. Once Senel let Stella go in his heart, the Quiet Nerifes gave Senel his Sacred Eres.
Everlight. This is initially why Norma wanted to help save Shirley, for the Everlight which would grant one wish. Norma's teacher, Sven, had been searching for the Everlight as well. Norma eventually found the Everlight and wished for Sven's wish to come true.
The Quiet Lands. Moses and Giet were inseparable until the beginning of the character quests. Moses, who is the leader of a gang of bandits, had met Giet on the mainland. Moses' men were fearing that Giet was "turning wild" and would end up attacking Moses and his men. Moses, not wanting to kill Giet if he turned wild, decided to release Giet in the Quiet Lands, where there would be no people to hurt.
Pappo. Quappo, Pippo, and Poppo are talking otters called Oresoren. When Jay failed a mission on the Legacy and was left severely injured, the Oresoren took Jay in and he has lived with them ever since.
The Merines. The Merines is a special Ferines who is supposed to destroy the Orerines (or humans). Shirley initially rejected being the Merines because she knew she would have to kill Senel, who is an Orerines. She later becomes the Merines, but Senel saves her from destroying humanity.
