Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. In the season one episode, "White Rabbit," Jack is perplexed by the vision of a certain person. Who is the person that Jack apparently sees?

Answer: his father

Jack, perhaps suffering from dehydration and fatigue, continues to see his father, Christian Shephard, in the jungle. Jack gives pursuit. When Christian appears close enough to catch, Christian disappears and Jack nearly perishes in a ravine. John mysteriously arrives and helps Jack to safety.
2. Hurley appears to have a dream, in which he is ravaging the pantry at the Swan station. In this vision, who appears along with "Mr. Cluck?" This is from the episode, "Everybody Hates Hugo."

Answer: Jin

Hurley has been assigned to key in the numbers at the Swan station. He falls asleep and has a dream about being in the pantry, eating everything in sight. Suddenly, Jin appears along with Mr. Cluck, the mascot of Hurley's former employer. While Hurley is busy eating, Jin arrives and says, "Hi there, Hurley," in perfect English. Hurley says, "Dude, you speak English." Jin replies, "No, you're speaking Korean." Jin says that everything is going to change, and Hurley appears not to understand. Jin says, "Everything's going to change. Have a cluckity-cluck-cluck day, Hugo." Kate arouses Hurley from his dream, and he reluctantly keys in the numbers.
3. What is the name of Hurley's imaginary friend from the mental institute?

Answer: Dave

Dave, Hurley's imaginary friend, is seen at the Santa Rosa Mental Health Institute and also on the island. Dr. Brooks indulges Hurley's concept of Dave, although they argue about whether Dave happens to be a negative influence. Hurley says, "Dave's the most normal person in this place, man."
4. About whom does John Locke dream about, which gives him the vital clues for finding Jacob's cabin?

Answer: Horace

In John's dream, from the episode, "Cabin Fever," John is given a clue on how to find Jacob's cabin. Horace tells John, "Hello there. You gotta find me, John. You gotta find me. And when you do, you'll find him."
5. Ben, in an attempt to retain his authority over his group, shoots John, and leaves John to die in the mass grave site. Who appears in a vision to encourage John?

Answer: Walt

John is lying in the mass grave site of all of the DHARMA Initiative victims. Seemingly unable to move his legs, John is on the verge of suicide. He finds a gun nearby, and points it toward his head. Walt appears above, and says, "Don't, John." Walt proceeds to tell John, "You can move your legs. Now get out of the ditch, John." Walt says that John has work to do.

This provides the requisite motivation for John to move out of the grave site, and carry out his plans.
6. Michael sees someone in two locations, once at the hospital and secondly on the freighter. She tells him not to blow up the ship. Who is it?

Answer: Libby

Michael is serving on the Kahana, under the guidance of Ben. Michael is prepared to detonate a set of explosives, killing everybody on board. Libby appears in a vision and says, "Don't do it, Michael." She quickly disappears and Michael presses the detonation button. Instead of exploding, however, a little flag pops up, that says, "NOT YET."
7. Desmond, in what appear to be visions of the future, foresees the death of which of the following characters?

Answer: Charlie

Desmond appears to have traveled back and forth in time. He envisions the death of Charlie in a variety of instances. In each case, Desmond tries to circumvent the death of Charlie. Ultimately though, Desmond is saddened to tell Charlie that he must sacrifice himself, in order to save Claire and Aaron. "If you don't, none of it will happen.

There won't be any rescue. I'm sorry, brother, but this time you have to die."
8. As a child, Ben is somewhat unhappy on the island. He has been brought there by his father, who has a menial job with the DHARMA Initiative. Which dead person does Ben see?

Answer: his mother

Ben first sees his mother looking at him from outside of his window. Roger, his father, chastises him for not being in bed. Ben's mother reappears outside of the security fence. Ben begins to run toward her, but she says, "It's not time yet, Benjamin."
9. Who has seen Christian Shephard, after his death?

Answer: they have ALL seen him

After Christian Shephard's untimely death in Sydney, Australia, he has been seen by a number of the survivors. Michael sees Christian just before the freighter explodes. Christian tells Michael, "You can go now, Michael." Jack has seen his father on several occasions. Claire is sitting in Jacob's cabin with Christian.
10. Does Hurley have visions of Charlie, after Charlie's death?

Answer: Yes

Hurley claims to being able to have conversations with Charlie at the mental institution. In fact, another patient can also see Charlie. The other patient says, "I'd watch out if I were you." Hurley wants to know why, "What are you talking about, dude? "The other patient says, "There's a guy over there, staring at you." The person happens to be Charlie. Hurley says, "I may be in a mental hospital, but I know you're dead and I'm not having an imaginary conversation with you." Before, Hurley wishes Charlie away, Charlie says, "You know they need you."
