Kate asks Jack this because she thinks it's odd that a spinal surgeon has tattoos and Jack says, "That's me. Hardcore." This quote is from the same episode as the previous question, "Pilot: Part 1".

This is from season one, "House of the Rising Sun". When Charlie sees Jack and Kate stripped of there clothes, Kate in her bra, she tells Charlie she had to take it off because there were bees in it. Charlie makes this funny remark and receives a dirty look from Kate. Charlie should know, too. Dominic Monaghan, who plays Charlie, and Evangeline Lilly, who plays Kate, have dated on and off in real life and were even once engaged. Go Charlie!

In this episode, "The Long Con", Sawyer does what he does best to get a hold of all of the guns. Kate seems to be the one most hurt by his actions. She says to him, "You played us. You played me. All that stuff you said about Anna Lucia, you knew I'd go to Jack, and you knew I'd ask you to go to Locke...I don't think this has anything to do with guns, or with getting your stash back. I think you want people to hate you." Sawyer then says to her, "Good thing you don't hate me, Freckles."

This quote is from the third season premiere, "A Tale of Two Cities". Jack, Kate, and Sawyer have been captured by the others and are being held prisoner. Ben makes Kate sit down with him to have breakfast and inquires as to why she cares more about Sawyer. Kate, who is obviously very stressed out by the current situation, glares at him and says, "You don't know me."

Answer: Ben to Juliet

In this episode, "The Other Woman", more is revealed about Juliet's relationship with the others, and with Ben in particular. Come to find out, Juliet had an affair with a married man named Goodwin, who just so happens to be the man Anna Lucia killed when she found out he was a spy for the others. Ben is in love with Juliet, so he didn't like it when he found out about Juliet and Goodwin.

In fact, Ben sent Goodwin out to pretend to be a survivor because he knew that they would find out the truth eventually, and that he would more than likely be killed.

When Juliet asks Ben why he did it, he responds with the quote.

Answer: Hurley

After Desmond turns the fail safe key in the hatch, he wakes up naked in the middle of the jungle. Meanwhile, Hurley is on the way back to the beach to tell everyone that Jack, Kate, and Sawyer have been captured by the others. Hurley stumbles upon Desmond, who asks a very uncomfortable Hurley for something to wear. Luckily for them both, Hurley has a tie-dye shirt on hand, large enough for Desmond to wear as a dress.

Answer: Charles Widmore

Charles Widmore is the father of Penelope Widmore, the love of Desmond's life. Desmond isn't the only one Charles Widmore is connected to, though. Apparently, Widmore has been searching for the island for a long time and also wants Ben captured and brought to him alive.

The people from the freighter who arrive on the island are initially thought by the survivors to be their rescuers. Come to find out, they are actually there to capture Ben. As a tactic to do so, they take his daughter, Alex, hostage. Keamy holds a gun to Alex's head and tells Ben over a walkie talkie that if he does not come out of the house he will kill her. Alex begs for her life, but Ben tells her he has everything under control. Suddenly, Keamy pulls the trigger and murders her.

The scene this quote is taken from takes place in the future, and Ben has come to see Widmore in the middle of the night to deliver a message. He says he is going to kill his daughter, Penelope, just like Widmore killed Alex. Widmore says that he will never find her, and the island will be his once again. Ben says that he will never find the island. Widmore then responds by saying, "Then I guess the hunt is on for both of us."

Answer: Sayid

After torturing Sawyer in season one "Confidence Man" in order to get Shannon's asthma inhalers, Sayid feels extremely guilty. He tortured people when he was in the Republican Guard in Iraq and feels great regret over it, so he is very ashamed that he did the same thing again to Sawyer. Kate tries to stop him from leaving because they still don't know what is out there, but it is no use. Sayid heads down the beach to where we do not know, that is until the next episode.

This is when he meets Daniel Rousseau, the mysterious French woman. Sayid is captured and then tortured by her because she thinks he knows the whereabouts of her kidnapped daughter, Alex. I guess it's true what they say. What goes around comes around. Karma.

Answer: Jin

Before coming to the island, Jin was sterile, but Sun somehow becomes pregnant on the island. Unfortunately, Juliet reveals to her that all women who get pregnant on the island die, so not all is as perfect as it seems. Sun decides not to tell Jin, and that is not the only secret she has kept from him. Before the crash, Sun had an affair, so at first she assumes the baby is not Jin's. Juliet takes her to a medical station on the island, and she gives her an ultrasound which reveals that she indeed got pregnant on the island. Sun is of course happy the baby is Jin's, but there is still the issue of pregnant women dying on the island.

In "Ji Yeon", the season 4 episode this quote is taken from, Juliet is forced to tell Jin that Sun was with another man to prevent her from going to Locke's camp. Juliet knows that in order for Sun to survive she must get off the island soon, and she is afraid that if Sun goes to Locke's camp, she may not be rescued. Jin later forgives Sun, saying that it was his fault that she had an affair.
