Jerry Lewis was probably most famous for his partnership with Dean Martin. Their partnership began on July 25, 1946 at the 500 Club in Atlantic City. They started out on stage and quickly moved up to film. During their 10 years together they cranked out sixteen very lucrative films, as well as appearing together at nightclubs, on radio programs and television appearances. On July 25, 1956, exactly 10 years to the day they first became a team, they made their last nightclub appearance together at the Copacabana.

Some interesting facts about Jerry Lewis are that he loved baseball and during the 1950s and 1960s he trained every year with the Los Angeles Dodgers. He was also nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 1976.
