1. Who does Corran Horn want to shake by the hand and then kill?

Answer: Grand Admiral Thrawn

This snippet comes from the opening scene when the New Republic task force is yanked out of hyperspace too early on the Bilbringi mission and Corran realises that Thrawn has out-guessed his opponents once again.

2. Who has won a "decade of dots"?

Answer: Wedge Antilles

Nice and easy question here. They refer to a New Republic General's rank insignia, which consists of two squares containing five dots, each arranged in a cross pattern.

3. Which base near Commennor does Corran Horn feel nostalgic for?

Answer: Folor

It was where Rogue Squadron was reformed at the beginning of the X-Wing series of novels. The Star Destroyer Implacable pounded it flat under the orders of Warlord Zsinj.

4. Whilst at the Imperial Academy, Wynnt Keppora was an expert at hand- to-hand combat.

Answer: False

According to Tycho Celchu, Keppora was some kind of engineering whiz whilst Krennel was the fighter. Other than having names beginning with the same letter of the alphabet, Krennel can hardly remember Keppora.

5. How many members of Rogue Squadron officially perished during the Battle of Distna?

Answer: 3

Bit of a trick question this. Two members of Rogue Squadron did die - Lyrr Zatoq and Khe Jeen Slee. Wes Janson had the back of his X-Wing blown out but survived thanks to a timely rescue from the Errant Venture. Asyr Sey'lar was recorded as officially dead so she could work in secret to help bring down the Bothan system of politics which helped raise Borsk Fey'lya to power. We see that this has limited success in the New Jedi Order series of books when Admiral Kre'fey mentions an instructor at the Bothan academy who taught him to question the system.

6. What are the names of the two Imperial Squadrons that come to the Rogue's rescue at Distna?

Answer: Stranger and Interloper

These squadrons are made up of Tie Defenders, which Corran Horn sees for the first time. They are impressive little ships which could have spelled certain doom for the Rebellion if mass produced during the height of the war.

7. Which wine does Wedge finally opt for at dinner?

Answer: Emerald

He blames his faux pas on his last posting where the waiters were animals. It's just wine!

8. On which planet can one find the Hotel Oradin?

Answer: Brentaal

This is the hotel where Whistler and Gate arrange to meet Talon Karrde in the hopes that they can be ferried safely to Booster Terrik and the Errant Venture.

9. Who sideslips too much?

Answer: Colonel Lorrir

This tell-tale tactic was a dead give-away in helping Wedge to identify that Isard's clone wasn't aboard a certain shuttle. He told her to tell him that he sideslips too much, right before he fires his missiles.

10. Isard offers 75 million credits to help her retake the Lusankya.

Answer: True

She offers the three people on the bridge - Booster, Mirax and an unnamed Verpine technician 25 million each or the lot if he/she kills their companions and turn the ship over to her.
