Answer: Karl Malone

The others never reached the 5000 mark. Malone, all alone with his 9789 free throws made in his 19 seasons, was 1250 ahead of the player he passed for the top spot, Moses Malone.
2. Who was the first player to amass 2000 rebounds in a season?

Answer: Wilt Chamberlain

When Chamberlain retired in 1973, he held the top seven spots in rebounds for a season. He broke the 2000 mark twice in his career with 2149 and 2052. His top seven spots held throughout the century.
3. Which of the following greats won more season MVP Awards in their career than the other three?

Answer: Bill Russell

The others listed won four in their career. Russell of the Celtics gained five MVP Awards. They came in 1957-58, three consecutive from 1960-1963, and 1964-65. Russell played for the Celtics for 13 seasons, retiring in 1969, and later being a Hall of Fame inductee.
