The Browns were dubbed the "Kardiac Kids" due to late game, even last minute, comebacks. They finished 9-7 in 1979. In 1980 they improved to 11-5, but lost to the Raiders in the Divisional Playoffs.
4. Which Cleveland quarterback saw the Denver Broncos take away three Conference Championships from the Browns in the 1980s?

Bernie Kosar came out of the University of Miami in 1985. He was the quarterback for the Browns when the Broncos defeated them in the Conference Championship games of 1986, 1987 and 1989. Answer: Phil Dawson

Phil's first controversial kick was during the November 2007 game with the Ravens. The Ravens were in the locker room celebrating, then after the kick was ruled good, they had to return to the field for overtime. The Browns won. A similar kick happened in December 2007, during a game with Buffalo. Cleveland won then also. Before the rule change, kicks that hit the uprights or crossbars couldn't be reviewed but after 2007 such plays can be reviewed.

Some call this the "Phil Dawson Rule".
8. Which Cleveland quarterback was surprisingly traded to the Seattle Seahawks early in the 2007 season?

Answer: Charlie Frye

Charlie Frye was a third round draft pick out of Akron in 2005. He was named the starting quarterback for Cleveland during his rookie season. He was a fan favorite not only because of his solid performances as a young QB but because he was from Ohio. Quinn, drafted in 2007, along with Anderson and Frye all were competing for the QB job. Frye won that job but after a poor performance in the opening game of the 2007 season, Anderson took over and Frye was traded to Seattle where he was added to a roster that included Hasselbeck.

10. What position did Cleveland Brown Kick Returner Joshua Cribbs play at Kent State University?

Answer: Quarterback

Cribbs was a quarterback at Kent State University. He played opposite Charlie Frye, who played for Akron, and Ben Roethlisberger, who was at Miami University of Ohio. Cribbs was undrafted in 2005 but made a huge impact as a kick returner for the Browns.

In addition to breaking the franchise record for kick return yardage in 2006, Cribbs had one kick return touchdown in each of his first three seasons in the NFL and also made it to the 2007 Pro Bowl as a kick returner.
