1. In the opening scene, who was walking with Jack and Kate through the jungle?

Answer: Charlie Pace

The episode opened up with Jack, Kate and Charlie all walking through the jungle and Jack tried to use a walkie talkie see if he could get a signal for help. Charlie asked him if he could get a signal and Jack told him no and that he kept asking him if he had a signal. Kate asked Charlie what he was doing in the bathroom on the plane and he informed her he was sick.

It was later revealed that Charlie went to the bathroom to take drugs.
2. In the first flashback, who was seen on the plane moving around nervously?

Answer: Charlie Pace

The second scene of the episode involved a flashback where we saw Charlie acting very nervous on the plane since he moved around constantly. A flight attendant came to him and asked if he was okay and Charlie told her he was fine. She asked Charlie if she could get him any water but Charlie declined that offer.
3. During the opening credits, who told Shannon he was sorting through clothes?

As the opening credits rolled, we saw Shannon relaxing on the beach with her eyes closed and Boone informed her he was going through their clothes and sorting them. He noticed Shannon's bag and simply said he saw how she found her bag. Boone asked Shannon if she could give them a hand but she said there would be no point to help out since the rescuers were going to come.
