Agent Fallon and Captain Montgomery discussed ways to diffuse the terrorist situation since there was a plan to blow up New York City. As they figured the strike would occur at a government related rally or building, Agent Fallon projected that the bomb was around the United Nations.

He asked Captain Montgomery to send a task force over there to investigate and Roy obliged with his request.

Richard and Kate comforted one another as they still remained stuck inside the freezing building they were in and prayed someone would help them. Kate got close to Richard while she mumbled to herself. Just then, Kate became unconscious while Richard encouraged her to hang in there.

As the opening credits rolled, Richard had a dream where someone with a candle neared him. Just then, he awoke in an ambulance and inquired as to where he was. The paramedic said that he and Kate had gone unconscious due to hypothermia but that both were just fine. Javier and Kevin came over and brought up to Richard how both knew of their whereabouts. Richard thanked the two men for rescuing him and Kate.

Midway through the show, Richard arrived home to a warm greeting from both his daughter and mother. As Richard feared for his family's lives, he advised them to go away for the weekend. This was when the two women agreed that three days at The Hamptons sounded worthwhile. During a discussion with Richard and Agent Fallon, Kate brought up how Amir had ties to the nation of Syria due to his ethnic background as well as terrorist connections. She claimed how Syria was a bastion for Al Quaida recruitment. Just after she made this known, she mentioned that society nowadays tended to be programmed via fear.

Agent Fallon noticed Kevin McCann run from him so he suspected that McCann had information on the bomb's location. He interrogated Mr. McCann back at police headquarters over his terrorist ties while Kevin resisted providing details over the bomb. Agent Fallon grew irate at Kevin's uncooperative stance and pinned him to the wall. Kate whipped out her gun to encourage him to release Kevin since she feared this would hinder their efforts.
