Amanda was shocked since the head of the company could call a board meeting but Craig was an office assistant. Craig informed Amanda that he just found out that he had a controlling interest, in D&D Advertising, and he planned to take charge of the company's day to day operations.

In the previous episode, Craig read his mother's will and, in the will, she gave controlling interest of her stocks, in D&D Advertising, to Craig on his 21st birthday. Craig was, at least, 21 years old so he gained controlling interest, in the company, through his mother's will.

Jane decided to go visit her parents, in Chicago, for a few days to escape all the problems she was facing in Los Angeles. While she was there, she found out that the parents she thought were her biological parents were actually her adoptive parents. In the episode, Jane's adoptive mother went to have surgery and her doctor told Jane it would be a good idea for her to donate blood so her mother could get a transfusion.

When the nurse looked up Jane's blood type and her mother's, she noticed they had different blood types.

This was when her mom told her that Jane was adopted.

In one scene, Billy went to Samantha's apartment to talk to her and he was amazed at the painting she was making of the apartment complex. Billy told her he had no idea she painted and she asked him what he thought of her work. Billy said he loved her painting and he thought the colors were great but Samantha found this to be little praise of her artistic talent. Right after this, Craig knocked on Samantha's door to give her a gift and Billy went back to his apartment.

Kimberly told Megan, in the previous episode, that she could have Michael and also mentioned that she had a brain tumor and only had a couple of months to live. She wanted Megan to comfort Michael, while she was dying, and she was going to free him from her so she would not be a burden to him. They got to talking and they agreed for both of them to actually stay at Dr. Hathaway's place.
