Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. In "Unimatrix Zero," we find out that Seven had had a romantic relationship with another Borg. What was his name?

Answer: Axum

Axum contacted Seven through Unimtrix Zero. After she realised what was happening, Seven was able to convince Janeway to help the Borg. Unfortunately, in order to save the drones' lives, Unimatrix Zero could no longer exist, meaning that Axum and Seven would not see each other again as Axum was in a remote section of the Beta Quadrant.
2. While on the topic of Seven, what is her human name?

Answer: Annika

Annika Hansen was assimilated at a young age while traveling with her parents, who were studying the Borg. While in Unimatrix Zero, Seven referred to herself as Annika and not Seven.
3. What is the name of Neelix's favourite sister?

Answer: Alixia

Alixia and Neelix used to go hunting for arctic spiders together. After she died in Talax's war with the Haakonian Order, Neelix kept her necklace as a memento. When Neelix had a near-death experience, he needed to gather objects that represented himself in order to use Chakotay's akoonah - one of the objects her brought was his sister's necklace. ("Mortal Coil")
4. Although the Voyager crew doesn't remember him, this man was ultimately responsible for the "Year of Hell."

Answer: Annorax

Annora, a Krenim scientist, was trying to rid the universe of his people's enemies and built a time ship to wipe them from history. Unfortunately, he failed to account for all the variables and spent years trying to restore the timeline. During "Year of Hell," Annorax tried to erase Voyager from history, but the ship had developed a shield against his weapon.

He eventually kidnapped Chakotay and Paris, while Janeway and the rest of the crew were forced to try to keep Voyager working.
5. Last name of woman that Chakotay 'dated' in the episode "In the Flesh."

Answer: Archer

But Valerie Archer turned out to be a member of Species 8472, who had created a duplicate Starfleet Headquarters in order to perfect their invasion plans. Chakotay, wanting to know more about what was going on, befriended Archer in an attempt to find out why (and how) Starfleet Headquarters had been recreated in the Delta Quadrant.
6. Area of the ship where Kes spent much of her time. (Hint: it was her idea to create this place in an attempt to solve the food shortage problem.)

Answer: airponics bay

Also known as Hydroponics, Kes spent her time growing plants so that Voyager didn't have to rely on replicators or finding foodstuffs on planets. This also helped Neelix as he had fresh vegetables and other foods with which to cook.
7. This piece of technology is what Chakotay used to go on his vision quests.

Answer: akoonah

When Chakotay introduced Janeway to her spirit guide, he told her that in the past, his people had used hallucinogens in order to have the visions. But although his people tried to stay away from technology, they did embrace the akoonah which could aid with their visions, but without the drugs.
8. Name of ship that Janeway served on with Admiral Paris.

Answer: Al-Batani

She was a science officer aboard this ship. When she tells Tom Paris this, he replies that his father only accepted the best on his crews.
9. Title for the Hirogen in charge of a hunt.

Answer: Alpha

His second in command, oddly enough, is called the Beta. During "The Killing Game," the Alpha was attempting to use the holodecks (and Voyager's crew) as a way to hunt without killing. After Janeway broke out and struck a deal with the Alpha, his Beta mounted a revolt against the Alpha, and killed him.
10. Name of ship that Tom Paris struck a deal for - a ship which tried to take him away from Voyager.

Answer: Alice

Alice's computer was almost sentient in nature. After Tom fixed her up, she began to merge with him and almost killed Torres, who had become a little too suspicious. Alice actually had a life form in the computer which was just trying to find the right pilot that could help it get home. ("Alice")
11. What was the name of the ship that Commander Braxton commanded in "Future's End"?

Answer: Aeon

The Aeon crashed on 1967 Earth and Commander Braxton was trapped. When the Voyager crew travelled back in time and found Braxton, he had spent many years in 20th century Earth. Because of this, he would eventually try to destroy Voyager.
12. Completed at the beginning of "Year of Hell," this is where Seven of Nine spent most of her time.

Answer: astrometrics

She and Harry designed and built the room. Seven eventually began to behave as though it was *her* room. Astrometrics became instrumental in helping the Voyager crew get home sooner.
13. Name of medicine that Janeway asked the Doctor for in "The Omega Directive."

Answer: arithrazine

She needed the drug to protect her from the strong theta radiation that she could encounter while trying to destroy Omega.
14. Name of alien who was a master of languages - and a big bad guy.

Answer: Arturis

Arturis 'happened' to be at the right place at the right time to assist with some negotiations on a planet. Offered a ride by Janeway, he 'helped' decipher part of Starfleet's message to the ship that Janeway had been trying to decipher for some time. Arturis led Voyager to a new ship, the Dauntless, which was supposed to have been sent by Starfleet.

However, Arturis made the ship and programmed it to take the crew straight to the Borg to be assimilated. ("Hope and Fear")
15. Episode synopsis: Boy meets girl. Boy falls in love with girl. Boy's superior officer falls in love with girl. Girl turns out to be alien living in holodeck.

Answer: Alter Ego

Harry fell in love with a holodeck character from Neelix's Polynesian Resort program. Harry goes to Tuvok for help to stop his feelings for her. However, Tuvok then falls for her (well, as much as a Vulcan can), and it turns out that the holodeck character was an alien being that was a bit lonely.
