Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. The episode "Eye of a Needle" showed Voyager contacting a man in the Alpha Quadrant. What species was this man?

Answer: Romulan

Telek R'Mor was a Romulan scientist who happened to receive Voyager's signal. He was transported aboard the ship through the very small wormhole when the crew noticed that R'Mor was actually from the past.
2. What planet was threatened by a Cardassian weapon that had been altered by the Maquis?

Answer: Rakosa V

B'Elanna had altered the Dreadnought weapon so that it would turn on the Cardassians. Somehow, it found its way to the Delta Quadrant and thought Rakosa V was a Cardassian target.
3. In one episode, a man mistook Janeway as his daughter after Janeway was separated from her crew. What was the name of this man's daughter, who it turns out was dead?

Answer: Ralkana

Janeway had to pretend to be this man's daughter as he was very nice and seemed to be mentally fragile. The man's wife had been imprisoned and Ralkana had gone to try to free her, dying in the attempt. When Janeway went to rescue her crew who had been imprisoned, she found out the truth about the man's wife and daughter. ("Resistance")
4. Who did Jal Karden kill in the episode "Initiations"?

Answer: Razik

Jal Razik was the First Maje of the Kazon-Ogla. When Jal Karden failed at the attempt to earn his name (Chakotay captured him), Razik ordered Karden's execution. But Karden earned his name by grabbing a weapon and killing Razik instead.
5. What is the name of the Talaxian moon?

Answer: Rinax

Rinax had been devastated by Jetrel's weapon called the metreon cascade. In "Jetrel," the scientist attempted to bring back those who had died on Rinax with regenerative fusion, a process he developed. Unfortunately, it didn't work.
6. In what episode did B'Elanna 'dream' someone's past?

Answer: Remember

One of the women had fallen in love with one of the Regressives, a section of the population who wished to live without technology. She wanted someone to remind her people that they had treated the Regressives terribly and believed B'Elanna could do so. As B'Elanna slept, she was telepathically sent 'dreams' of this woman's past so others would know what happened to the Regressives.
7. Name the episode where Chakotay builds Janeway a bathtub.

Answer: Resolutions

Janeway and Chakotay were stranded on a planet where they thought they would live the remainder of their years as they had contracted a disease without a cure. Janeway mentioned how much she liked baths, so Chakotay built her a bathtub.
8. In which episode do we see Janeway win a fight against Chakotay?

Answer: Renaissance Man

It wasn't actually Janeway, it turns out that Janeway never returned from the away mission. Janeway was being held hostage while the Doctor had to change his holographic template to make it appear as though he was Janeway. When Chakotay figures it out, he confronts Janeway in her quarters - and that's when the Doctor overpowers Chakotay and 'puts him on ice.'
9. What was the last name of the man that Tom Paris was accused of killing?

Answer: Ren

Tolen Ren was a Banean scientist who had a very beautiful wife, Lidell. During an away mission, Tom got close to Lidell. A little too close... Turns out Tom hadn't killed the man, his wife's lover (a Numiri spy) was the killer.
10. What was the name of the woman that Tom claimed he put in all of his holodeck programs?

Answer: Ricky

Ricky was a sexy brunette with a firey personality who was programmed to like Tom very much. After we see Ricky in the episode "The Cloud," she's never seen in another program...
11. What was the first name of the woman at the Griffith Observatory in the episode "Future's End"?

Answer: Rain

Rain Robinson was a young woman who spent her days looking for signs of alien life. What she didn't know was that her employer, Henry Starling, had taken technology from the future and was just using her as a sort of alarm that alien beings were coming to take back his stolen stuff.
12. What species is "Unforgettable"?

Answer: Ramuran

The Ramurans have a special chemical reaction that renders other alien species unable to remember them. Chakotay fell in love with one named Kellin who eventually asked for asylum on the ship. But her people convinced her to come back, and Chakotay wrote out on paper about his experience so he would have some record of her existence.
13. What was the name of the ship that Seven's parents took into the Delta Quadrant?

Answer: Raven

The remains of the USS Raven were found in the Delta Quadrant. Seven's parents had been following a Borg cube to try and study them further, but ended up being assimilated.
14. In what episode do Tom and B'Elanna go see a 3-D movie?

Answer: Repression

Tom made a 3-D environment (the movie theatre) to project a 2-D movie where they'd have to wear glasses to make the movie 3-D. B'Elanna was a bit confused. At the end of the episode (there was a Maquis takeover of the ship in between), the whole crew seem to be at the movies.
15. In what episode does Tuvok have to solve a mystery on board a vehicle that is traveling up to an orbital space station?

Answer: Rise

It turns out that an alien species called the Etanians was creating 'natural' events in an attempt to drive the native population from the planet. Then the Etanians have a nice planet ready for colonization. Nice idea? Well, they didn't think about being found out by Voyager.
