1. Dogtanian and Planchet are searching for Juliette in the town, when they decide to split up. What time are they going to meet up again?

Answer: 8 pm

They arrange to meet on the bridge at 8 o'clock. They realise that they will be more likely to find Juliette if they split up, so Planchet takes Sandy, and Dogtanian goes alone.

2. How many bags of gold will Milady get, in total, for doing this job for Cardinal Richelieu?

Answer: 3

The Cardinal gives Milady one bag of gold before she sets out to "deal with" Juliette, and promises her two more when the job is done.

3. What colour is Widimer's cloak in this episode?

Answer: Orange

We haven't seen much of Widimer for a while, so this is a welcome return! I'm sure that he normally wears a black cloak in other episodes, but in this one it's orange. At first I thought it was just the inside lining, but we do see the outside in a long shot, and it's also orange.

4. What does Juliette ask Planchet if she can borrow?

Answer: Sandy

Sandy is still with Planchet after he split up from Dogtanian. Juliette asks to borrow him so she can escape more easily.

Milady first drops her handkerchief out of the carriage, and when Dogtanian chases her to give it back, she drops a rose, and tells Dogtanian it is for him.

6. Milady wears a different outfit when she is trying to fool Dogtanian, which includes a new hat. What colour is the bow on the hat?

Answer: Purple

She wears a black hat with a purple ribbon and bow. Normally Milady wears her hood up with a mask on. Although Milady has appeared in previous episodes, this is the first one where she plays a major role in the story.

When Dogtanian stands up, he has a black eye, which miraculously disappears in the next scene. Later in the episode, the queen hits Dogtanian, and he gets another black eye - on the other side!

Her whole outfit was red and black. Dogtanian follows her into her home, where he sees her adjusting her shoe, with her dress up round her knees. He goes very red, and doesn't know how to act!

She hands Dogtanian a bottle with no label, and tells him that it is honey, and will make his tea taste delicious. Dogtanian pours in the "honey", and as he starts to get woozy, Milady tells him it was actually a drug.

This line is repeated over and over about ten times in Dogtanian's head, as he heads towards the palace. He also sees images of Milady holding up a picture of the Queen.

Planchet is leading the Muskahounds to where he is supposed to meet Dogtanian. They are surprised to find only Sandy waiting on the bridge. Dogtanian is nowhere in sight.

As he arrives at the palace, we see a close-up of a clock, which shows that the time is 2:55 AM.

The bed clothes are all pink with small bows on them. Very feminine!

Although it seems that Dogtanian gets hit by a log in almost every episode, in this one it is a chair! He tries to attack the Queen, who throws a sheet over him and hits him with a nearby chair.

She hits him repeatedly, until Juliette stops her, and she realises what she is doing. She also realises that Dogtanian was not acting of his own will.

She grabs a cup of cold water and pours it over Dogtanian's head. He wakes up and doesn't understand where he is or how he got there.

Cardinal Richelieu knows that Dogtanian must be nearby, because he knows Milady sent him there. The Queen suspects Richelieu though, and tells him he is making inappropriate suggestions, and should not even be in the Queen's bedroom.

Answer: Because he let Milady seduce him

Juliette is really upset that he followed Milady to her house and had tea with her, but she couldn't confront him at the time because the Queen was still there. Once they get into the tunnel she shows him how upset she is.

Answer: That she loves him

Dogtanian loved Juliette since he met her, and he knew she liked him, but this is the first time she tells him that she loves him.
