Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Peach sends Mario a letter with a map at the beginning of the game. What color is the jewel-like object at the top of the letter?

Answer: Blue

The only time you can see this jewel-looking thing is when Luigi reads the letter to Mario. When he does, it shows what he's reading at the top, and below it shows Peach's actual letter.
2. After beating the living daylights out of Crump for the first time in Rogueport, an army of X-Nauts surrounds Mario and Goombella. Crump gives an order to the army, what is it?

Answer: PUNISH HIM!

I'm guessing Crump was really unhappy when some anonymous character who hasn't shaved in forever beat him up. Letting an army of X-Nauts do the punishing would be a lot safer for Crump without the loss of much honor or pride.
3. You know those RDM emails you get all the time? Who referred you to them?

Answer: Professor Frankly

It tells you this in the first RDM email you get, which isn't really about the news, just your subscription. You receive this email usually early on in the game, like somewhere in Petal Meadows or Rogueport.
4. Speaking of RDM, who publishes the newsletter?

Answer: Rogueport Restoration Committee

Rogueport Pacification Board and Thieves' Underground Network are both made up. Everyone should know what the Pianta Syndicate is if they've played past Chapter 2, but it doesn't publish the letter. RDM says at the bottom of every email "Published by Rogueport Restoration Committee", making the answer pretty clear.
5. What volcano is on the Pudding Continent?

Answer: Rumblebump Volcano

If you actually listened to Luigi's stories, you should know it was Rumplebump Volcano, a place far to the south of Rogueport. Luigi tells this information in the first of his stories, which you can access for the first time after you meet Professor Frankly.
6. In the Shwonk Fortress, what is the cruel and unusual punishment for losing the 65th Super Fun Quirk Quiz?

Answer: Battle four Clefts

Yes, you do have to battle four Clefts if you lose, and unless you bought a POW Block and found the other two on the way to Shwonk Fortress, you can't beat them. Luckily, the questions of the 65th Super Fun Quirk Quiz aren't very hard.
7. When you first meet Punio, he tells Mario about the X-Nauts. Whichever party member is out will then make a comparison of the X-Nauts to what other thing?

Answer: Tissues to the extreme

The answer, "Tissues to the extreme", is really random, even for a game like this. I don't think any of the other choices are even mentioned anywhere in the game though, so that should have narrowed down the question a bit, even for those who didn't pay attention.
8. The Puni Elder enjoys lecturing. Exactly how much time later was he still lecturing Punio and Mario after being released from the red cell?

Answer: Several hours later

This occurs in Chapter 2, which mostly takes place in the Great Tree during Mario's search for the Emerald Star. In this quest, the majority of the Puni population gets captured and thrown into cages, with the important exception of Punio, the future Puni Elder. Even though Punio went for help, deserting your people in time of need calls for a serious tongue-lashing.
9. Who did Bowser become the king of in Petalburg?

Answer: The guys who talk to posters

When Bowser visits Petalburg in search of Peach and the Crystal Stars, he finds Peach, but she is actually a poster on a guy's wall. The Koopas flee in horror, but one of them runs back to rescue his life-size Peach poster. When Bowser finds out that Peach really wasn't there, he unofficially dubbed himself The King of the Guys Who Talk to Posters.
10. Mario has a very prominent mustache, and it seems to be the butt of many jokes. In the Prologue, Chapter 1, and Chapter 2, how many times is his 'stache mentioned (NOTE: only include the times it is mentioned in cutscenes and people you need to talk to for the game to progress. Also, if his mustache is mentioned twice in a speech bubble, it only counts once.)

Answer: Fourteen

It would be kind of hard to tell all fourteen times his 'stache is mentioned, but one of the times is when a Puni says "Nice 'Stache" in one of those little balloons that disappears after just a little while and is considerably smaller. As I stated in the question I don't include the times when you can talk to someone, who mentions Mario's mustache, but it isn't necessary to talk to them (example: when you first arrive in Petalburg, you can talk to Koopie Koo who mentions your mustache, but it isn't necessary to beat the game to talk to her).
