Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. What race can be created in Tirisfal Glades?

Answer: Undead

Because of this, Tirisfal Glades is primarily a Horde-based area, accommodating for Horde players from levels 1 through 15, and then higher for instances. The main city in Tirisfal Glades, the Undercity, is the Undead home city in the game. Furthermore, advancement is easily emphasized in this area. Players can either fly (via zeppelin) to Durotar and begin their quests there and move on to The Barrens, or heading to the south past the Undercity, one can go to Silverpine Forest for players from level 10 to 20. Tirisfal Glades is in the northwestern corner of the Eastern Kingdoms.
2. New players beginning the game from Tirisfal Glades will begin with quests in what town?

Answer: Deathknell

Deathknell is a rather large area found in the western end of Tirisfal Glades. Filled with skeleton creatures and surrounded by caves of spiders, bats, and angry, low-leveled woodland creatures, the whole place is walled in much like the Valley of Trials in Durotar for new Orc and Troll characters. Located nearby are Shadow Grave, a crypt found in the south of Deathknell, and the Night Web's Hollow, a house in the northwest containing a bunch of arachnids. Tons of quests for players from level 1 to 5 can be attempted here, and while it isn't advised that one leave the area before they reach a suitable level, the forests surrounding Deathknell are hardly a threat all the way to Undercity.
3. Solliden Farmstead is to the north of the starting area. What can be found in the northwest corner of this property?

Answer: Crusader's Outpost

Immediately upon leaving Deathknell, one can find the Solliden Farmstead down the left path at the first fork in the road. While the enemies here may not be a high level, they are still enemies nonetheless, and players just setting out for the first time may find this to be a challenge.

A quest or two will lead you to the Crusader's Outpost further along the property line. This area, guarded by Crusaders from the Scarlet Monastery, consists of the weaker warriors from this group. The quest 'At War With the Scarlet Crusade' will bring you here to kill Captain Vachon in the top floor of the guard tower.
4. Agamand Mills contains many functional windmills whose use is required for different quests.

Answer: False

Although Agamand Mills refers to a farming property containing a number of decrepit, dilapidated windmills, all of them are out of order and most of the quests completed here will require a number of enemies defeated, a number of pick-ups, and a couple bosses. Amongst numerous bosses here include a number of tainted spirits, Darkeye undead, and skeleton creatures. To get to Agamand Mills, you can head straight out of Deathknell and on your way to the next town you can take a left on most paths. Agamand Mills itself is in the northern portion of Tirisfal Glades, but it's just as gloomy as the rest of them.
5. What outpost just north of the Undercity contains a graveyard?

Answer: Brill

West of Nightmare Vale and Cold Hearth Manor, Brill is found up the road from the Undercity and marks the halfway point of a new-player's journey from Deathknell to their major city hub. Brill contains many quests reaching across north and west Tirisfal Glades as well as a number of important trainers for almost all professions and classes.

The outpost contains an inn and numerous traders as well as an Undead Horse stable master. Brill Town Hall is the largest building in the city (and contains many of the quests) while 'The Gallows', the inn, is in the south end of the town and contains the most trainers (as well as a Hearthstone location). Brill does not contain a flight path- the only location in Tirisfal Glades to do this is The Undercity, possibly because of Brill's proximity to the Zeppelin towers.
6. Which area of the Undercity is closest to the Royal Quarter?

Answer: The Apothecarium

The Undercity is the major hub for all Undead players in the game, and because of this, it tends to be quite popular, much like Orgrimmar, for all Horde players on their journeys. Descending into the Ruins of Lordaeron, players can enter the Trade Quarter and then make their way through the divided subzones surrounding it in the four quarters. Clockwise, the zones spread between Magic Quarter, the Rogues Quarter, the Apothecarium, and the War Quarter.

The Royal Quarter splits off from the center of the Apothecarium while the Sewers lead out from the western part of the circle, giving an easy exit to Tirisfal Glades' southwestern side.
7. The Orb of Translocation to Silvermoon City is found in which part of the Undercity?

Answer: The Ruins of Lordaeron

Blood Elves, a Horde race hailing from Eversong Woods, can begin their journey in their homezone and continue to the Ghostlands, but when you reach the end of this, only the Eastern Plaguelands await, and that area is typically for players above level 53.

Instead, if players are okay with exploring the rest of the world (...of Warcraft) then they can use the Orb of Translocation found in Sunfury Spire to head to the Ruins of Lordaeron and continue from Tirisfal Glades. This works the opposite way as well.

When you're level 20, it won't matter too much anyways. From both locations you can purchase reagents and teleport back and forth.
8. The Great Sea borders to the north and west. What is the name of the coastline explorable at the north end?

Answer: The North Coast

Containing a number of Vile Fin Murloc enemies, this coastline is less than hospitable, and considering that none of the major or minor paths in Tirisfal Glades lead to it, it's only necessary to visit on very minor questlines. The North Coast is aptly named and is found to the north east of Garren's Haunt and to the North of Brightwater Lake. The Whispering Shore, on the other hand, is very similar but it's found to the western coast of Tirisfal Glades, even further north than Solliden Farmstead.

Heading northwest from either of these beaches would take a player to Northrend...of course, it's too far to swim.
9. Which zone is due east of The Bulwark?

Answer: Western Plaguelands

Departing from the Undercity and taking the beaten path to the east will inevitably take you to the Horde encampment known as The Bulwark. This small area may have a few nice NPCs for Horde players, but beyond this, it simply marks the border between Tirisfal Glades and the Western Plaguelands, a higher-level zone for players level 50 and onward. Both the Ghostlands and Durotar share no borders with Tirisfal, but Silverpine Forest can be found due southwest, exiting slightly west of the Undercity on your world map.

This area may be more to newer players' likings. Its level range spans level 10 through to 20. It is a Horde-centric area.
10. How many instanced dungeons can be found in Tirisfal Glades?

Answer: One

The Scarlet Monastery is found in the northeast corner of the Tirisfal Glades map at the end of a long and winding path (you shouldn't get lost...signposts simply call it 'Monastery'). The various wings of the dungeon work in tiers for advancing players.

Although the entire dungeon spans levels 33-40, each wing has its own distinct level ranking. All four areas, the Graveyard, Library, Armory, and Cathedral, are guarded by Scarlet Crusade warriors. Two of these, the Cathedral and the Armory, require a Scarlet Key to enter and the Cathedral is also home to the final boss, High Inquisitor Whitemane.

The Scarlet Key is found in the Library in a chest and it is also needed when you visit a different instance, Scarlet Bastion in Stratholme.
