Ant Man
Tales to Astonish. Pym and van Dyne both made their debuts in "Tales to Astonish", which began as a science-fiction anthology and became a superhero-themed comic book. The Hulk and Sub-Mariner also made appearances in the series.
Maria Trovaya. Trovaya was Hungarian, and was killed by the Hungarian secret police. Shortly thereafter Pym discovered Pym particles, which could alter some thing's very size, and Ant-Man was born.
KGB agents. During his tenure at "Tales to Astonish", Ant-Man fought many villains. The most unique one was the Living Eraser, thought by many to be an ill-planned and laughable idea for a evil-doer.

Egghead. Egghead was an evil scientist who tried to use Ant-Man to capture the nation's supply of adamantium, a very strong metal. Wolverine's claws are made out of adamantium.
Oxford. In the "Avengers Finale", Pym and Janet left to go to England and try once more at a romantic relationship. Pym had accepted a residency at Oxford and had made peace with his various mental problems.
59 feet and 11 inches. Sixty feet was the point where the human body could no longer support itself, but many people are able to surpass this limit later in the series, including Pym himself.
1979. Lang appeared in the 181st issue of "The Avengers" and became the second Ant-Man in the 47th issue of "Marvel Premiere".
Florida. Lang was born in Coral Gables, Florida. In Miami-Dade county, Coral Gables is home to the University of Miami. According to the 2000 United States census, 42,249 people lived there.
He stole it. Lang is also a reformed thief as well as an electronics expert. Lang intended to turn himself in as soon as he returned the Ant-Man suit and the canisters containing the shrinking gas, but Pym let him keep them.

Dr. Sondheim. The fictional doctor shares a last name with composer and lyricist Stephen Sondheim, who has never displayed any kind of ability with medicine at all.
Jack of Hearts. Jack of Hearts can eject concussive energy from his body, and can also fly and survive in outer space unaided.
Jessica Jones. Jessica Jones has also been known as Knightress and Jewel, although she later gave up super-heroics and became a private investigator. She later married Luke Cage.
In an explosion. When a zombified Jack of Hearts returned to Avengers Mansion, he blew up and took half of the building with him. Lang was in the decimated half, and did not survive the explosion.
A-Next. Both Lang, as Ant-Man, and his daughter Cassie, as Stinger, joined A-Next. In semi-retirement, Lang repaired Mainframe and realized that he still enjoyed super-heroics.
Via gaseous Pym particles. Lang shrank by inhaling a gaseous form of Pym particles, discovered by the first Ant-Man, Henry Pym.

Reed Richards. Lang was hired for his electronic expertise, and later became a full-fledged member of the team. While he felt outclassed by the galactic villains the Fantastic Four faced, he was in reality a strong addition to the team.
S.H.I.E.L.D.. Eric O'Grady was a low-level operative for S.H.I.E.L.D. before he became Ant-Man. He took Pym's redesigned Ant-Man suit for himself, having found the technology that was in S.H.I.E.L.D.'s possession.
2006. O'Grady appeared in the first issue of "Civil War: Choosing Sides" in December 2006. Later that month, he got his own series, "The Irredeemable Ant-Man".
Chris McCarthy. McCarthy was the first person to wear the new Ant-Man suit, but he was soon killed by HYDRA agents. Ever the loyal friend, O'Grady wasted no time in making out with McCarthy's girlfriend on top of his late friend's grave.
Kirsten. Eric had been romantically seeing Kirsten, both of them agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. However, things were broken off between them two weeks before the issue.
Kirsten. This was a lie concocted by O'Grady simply because he wanted Veronica to himself. McCarthy was missing at the time, unable to defend himself against the accusations.

His brain. For lying to Veronica, McCarthy vows to kick O'Grady in the brain. However, McCarthy is killed by HYDRA agents before he can do so.

Magneto. Ant-Man is shown standing on top of a heap of defeated villains, exclaiming "Twelve villains and not a single wallet?"
Dinner. O'Grady, in the Ant-Man suit, saves a lady from a robber who was also a potential rapist. In return, he asks the lady out to dinner, only to claim that he has no money. He later gives ten dollars to the taxi driver, leaving his date confused.
