Marc Cherry gave us 23 wonderful episodes of “Desperate Housewives” in season one, where the secret lives of housewives aren't always what they seem. “Desperate Housewives” is a combination drama, comedy, and mystery prime time soap opera. The show starts out when suburban housewife Mary Alice Young takes her own life and then narrates the lives of her four best friends. There is lonely single mother Susan Mayer, ex-career woman, Lynette Scarvo, June Cleaver-on-steroids Bree Van De Kamp, and former model, Gabrielle Solis.
Mental hospital. Paul sends Zach to a mental hospital because he is starting to remember parts of his past. He wants Zach kept on drugs so he does not remember who Dana is. Zack does not realize that he IS Dana.
Tom saw her naked.. Lynette thinks Tom has a crush on their nanny, Claire, when she confesses that Tom caught her in the nude while doing laundry. When Lynette catches Tom staring at Claire's breasts, Tom realizes it's time to let Claire go.
Zack. Dierdre sold Dana/Zack to Paul and Mary Alice to feed her drug habit.
Sock. Carlos got suspicious when he found a man's gym sock under the bed. Gabrielle hustles to come up with an excuse, the maid uses them to dust.
Toy chest. We don't find out until later in the series what was inside the toy chest. It turns out to be Dierdre, who was accidentally killed by Mary Alice when she wanted Dana/Zack back.
Mary Alice's wake. At Mary Alice’s wake, Susan meets hunky new neighbor, plumber Mike. However, she's not the only one interested in Mike. Edie, the most predatory divorcee on the block, has set her sights on him too.
Arcade. Lynette finds Tom at an arcade in the middle of the day and he tells her he quit his job. He knows that she prevented him from getting his promotion. Tom tells her he wants to be a stay-at-home dad and she should go back to work.
Mike. Susan’s towel was caught in the door of her ex-husband's car as he drove off. As she tries to run inside without being seen, she realizes that the doors are locked. She falls into the bushes while trying to get inside the house as Mike walks by.

Bree Van de Kamp. Bree has two children, Andrew and Danielle, who are always giving her a hard time. She does all of those things and still manages to look extravagent.
Edie Britt. Edie had been divorced for a long time. We don't actually get to meet her ex-husband and son until the third season.
Orson. Orson and Bree met at the end of the second season of the show and got married during the third season.
Susan Mayer's. Susan and Carl had been seeing each other. To get rid of some of her frustration, she decides to burn down Susan's house.
