He lets Data experience laughter. Q becomes mortal in this episode by being turned human, by the Q Continuum. At the end he is turned back into a Q for performing an 'unselfish' act, even though Q was actually trying to kill himself because (as he said) he makes a lousy human.
Minuet . The Bynars actually used Minuet to distract Riker while they took over the ship.
Data's chest. After Troi asks if Data if he is ok, he tells her he's fine and 'I believe your aim is improving.'
Worf . This is also the first episode where we see Troi in command on the bridge, she later states that this was her starting point for wanting to become a full commander.
Shelby. In 'Best of Both Worlds Part 2' Riker reluctantly chooses Shelby as his first officer.
USS Melbourne. The Melbourne was later destroyed by the Borg.
Policeman. The characters in the program represented the ship and what it was trying to do, which was create a new lifeform.
Robin Lefler. During the episode 'The Game' when she first met Wesley.
Deanna Troi. In one of the dimensions they actually end up with kids.
Guinan. As the enormous cubical ship is seen for the first time, Picard asks Guinan if she can identify its origin. She explains that the alien race inside the cube call themselves the Borg.
La Forge. A Borg drone -- the first one ever seen on 'ST:TNG' -- materializes in Engineering right before the eyes (well, VISOR) of Lieutenant Geordi La Forge.
