Answer: Boston Braves

He played for the Red Sox from 1914 to 1919 and the Yankees from 1920 to 1934. He was then traded to the Braves in February of 1935. He would retire in June of 1935 having batted only .181 with 6 home runs.
2. Hank Aaron spent the majority of his career with the Braves, but on what American League team did he spend his last two seasons, mainly as a designated hitter?

Answer: Milwaukee Brewers

Hank Aaron played for the Milwaukee/Atlanta Braves from 1954 to 1974. At the end of the 1974 season Aaron requested a trade to the Milwaukee Brewers. He retired at the end of the 1976 season.
3. Ty Cobb is one of the greatest hitters of all time and spent 22 years with the Detroit Tigers, but for what team did he spend the last two years of his career?

Ty Cobb played for the Tigers from 1905 to 1926. Cobb initially retired after the 1926 season due to allegations of game-fixing. Once cleared of the allegations by Baseball Commissioner Landis in January of 1927, Cobb was declared a free agent and signed with the Philadelphia A's. He retired at the end of the 1928 season.

Unitas was originally drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1955 but released before the season. He was signed by the Baltimore Colts in 1956 and played for them until 1972. Unitas went 1-3 as the Chargers starting quarterback in 1973 and was replaced as the starter by another future Hall of Famer, Dan Fouts.

Namath was selected 1st overall in the 1965 AFL Draft by the New York Jets and would play with them until 1976. Super Bowl III (played in January 1969), saw the NY Jets defeat the Baltimore Colts 16-7. Namath was waived by the Jets prior to the 1977 season and signed with the L.A. Rams. He went 2-2 as the Rams starter before being benched and retired at the end of the season.

After winning the 1968 Heisman Trophy, Simpson was drafted 1st overall by the Buffalo Bills in the 1969 draft and would play for the Bills through the 1977 season. Simpson was traded to his hometown team, the 49ers, prior to the 1978 season and retired after the 1979 season.
