Chellsie Memmel became the rock upon which the U.S. team stood for years after 2003. Injured in 2004, Memmel missed the Olympic team, but in 2005 at another individual worlds, Chellsie won the gold medal in the All Around. Chellsie fought back from injury post 2004 and earned a spot on the 2008 Olympic team winning a silver with the team.
