Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Who pulled Michael out of the water and onto a remaining part of the raft?

Answer: James "Sawyer" Ford

The episode began where the season one finale left off with regards to Sawyer, Michael, Walt, and Jin who were all on the raft which blew up. Sawyer arose from the water and noticed Michael nearby and how he was unconscious. Sawyer brought him up onto the raft and successfully revived him.
2. In a flashback, Michael said he injured his leg in what way?

Answer: He got hit by a car

In Michael's first flashback, he was seen in an office talking to someone regarding his custody with his son, Walt. The person asked Michael how he injured his leg, to which Michael claimed he was hit by a car. He informed Michael of some documents that his ex-wife, Susan, had sent over but Michael corrected him in saying she's not his ex-wife but Walt's mother. Michael and Susan never married.
3. The first person Desmond held at gunpoint in this episode was Jack.

Answer: False

When we first saw Desmond, it was right after John Locke had found Kate in the hatch. Kate had been unconscious so he told her not to move. Kate informed him there was something behind him so Locke turned around and noticed it was Desmond holding him at gunpoint.
4. Michael blamed Sawyer for losing Walt.

Answer: True

After Sawyer revived Michael, he yelled out for Jin but he could not find him. Michael reminded Sawyer how he told him to fire the flare and so then he blasted Sawyer for making him fire it and attracting those who took Walt. Sawyer and Michael fought since he blamed Sawyer for Walt's disappearance, believing that he would not have lost him had Sawyer not instructed him to use the flare.
5. John tried to claim he was whom, in this episode?

Answer: Jack Shephard

When John was asked by Desmond if he was "him", as in Jack, John replied that he was. Desmond asked him who Kate was and John simply replied how Kate was with him. To have John prove he was who he said he was, Desmond asked him what one snowman said to the other (this was part of a conversation Desmond first had with Jack years ago). John said he did not understand what Desmond was saying, hence Desmond found out John was not Jack.
6. John told Desmond that Kate was his girlfriend.

Answer: False

Desmond took Kate and John into another room in the hatch and he ordered Kate to tie up John. John informed Desmond that it would be foolish to tie him up since Kate was the one he ought to be the most worried of between the two of them. This was when he brought it to Desmond's attention how Kate was a fugitive.
7. Who asked Jack if he would go back to the hatch?

Answer: Hugo "Hurley" Reyes

Jack had gotten out of the hatch and, midway through the episode, he got a gun to go back there. Hurley saw this and he asked Jack if he was actually thinking about going back there. Jack replied he was and Hurley was shocked, considering how Jack was adamant they all be careful. Jack still went to the hatch, despite Hurley's protests.
8. Sawyer said that who warned them of how The Others came for Walt?

Answer: Danielle Rousseau

Sawyer informed Michael how it was not the flare which caused Walt to disappear but Michael was still upset with him. Sawyer told Michael how the "French chick" (as in Danielle Rousseau) warned them how The Others had plans to take Walt. This infuriated Michael so much that he pushed Sawyer off a piece of the raft.
9. In a flashback, Susan told Michael how she planned to take Walt to which city?

Answer: Rome

Midway through the episode, there was a flashback with Michael and his ex-girlfriend and Walt's mother, Susan. Susan told Michael how she believed Michael would prevent her from leaving the country with Walt when they went to court for custody. Susan asked Michael not to do so since she got a job at a prestigious firm in Rome and he was still on disability, thus he could not provide for Michael.

However, Michael insisted he would keep fighting for Walt.
10. Desmond gave Locke his real name.

Answer: True

Desmond took Locke into a private room in the hatch to ask him questions about the other survivors on the island. He first asked him if he flew from Sydney to Los Angeles, which Locke replied was correct, and Locke added how they were a thousand miles off course. Locke asked Desmond to tell him his name and Desmond told him what his first name was and Locke introduced himself as John.
