1. If you enter the cheat code "BOMBSAWAY" into the cheat page, what will happen to balloons in the game?

Answer: They'll all turn red

All of the cheats in "Diddy Kong Racing" can be earned one at a time after you beat Wizpig either the first or second time. Once the race is over, credits will appear, and one cheat code will follow. To get every code, you simply need to beat Wizpig a lot.

2. Entering the cheat code "ROCKETFUEL" will make all balloons which colour?

Answer: Blue

"ROCKETFUEL" will change all balloons into the blue boost balloons, so it'll be easier for you to coast into first place. "TOXICOFFENDER" makes all balloons green, and "BODYARMOR" makes all balloons yellow.

3. Which cheat code lets you start every race with ten bananas?

Answer: FREEFRUIT

Having any amount of bananas will boost your speed during the race by a little bit, but ten bananas will help greatly. This quiz doesn't help in "Smokey Castle" I'm sorry to say. If you did have ten bananas in the beginning of "Smokey Castle", you'd automatically win the game.

4. What is the cheat code that lets you view the credits for "Diddy Kong Racing"?

Answer: WHODIDTHIS

Although you get cheats from the credits after beating Wizpig, these credits won't supply you with much new information (unless you want to know who made the game). During the credits, we are shown the first half of the tracks in the game.

5. There is a code that unlocks a secret level.

Answer: False

Although there is no code for a secret level, you can unlock "Fire Mountain", "Icicle Pyramid", "Darkwater Beach" and "Smokey Castle" during the game. Those levels are unlocked with keys from four different levels.

6. Which code allows two players to play in Adventure Mode together?

Answer: JOINTVENTURE

Up to four players can play in Tracks Mode, but unless you know the two-player adventure code, only one player can save Timber's Island from Wizpig. When two people play the game in adventure mode, only one needs to place in first with all objectives complete to win the track.

7. What does the code "DOUBLEVISION" do?

Answer: Lets two people use the same character

To make a mirror image of every track, you need to beat Adventure Mode and unlock Adventure 2 Mode. "DOUBLEVISION" lets more than one person use the exact same character, this way, there's no fighting over characters, and everyone has their favourites.

8. The code "TEENYWEENIES" makes every player become small, but which code makes players bigger?

Answer: ARNOLD

In many of Rare's games (eg. "Banjo-Kazooie" and "Goldeneye") there is usually a code to make people bigger (or in "Goldeneye's" case, make their heads bigger). Remember, if you don't want characters to be big or small, you can toggle with the cheats on the Magic Codes page.

9. Which code gives players four-wheel drive?

Answer: OFFROAD

The "OFFROAD" cheat is very beneficial in tracks such as "Ancient Lake" because you can cut across a huge chunk of the level. You will be able to perform on grass and dirt as well as you would on the beaten path.

10. There is a code that allows you to play game demos.

Answer: False

No games demos are playable anywhere in this game. Other games that were released by Rare for the Nintendo 64 include "Banjo-Kazooie", "Banjo-tooie", and "Donkey Kong 64". All of which include characters from "Diddy Kong Racing".
