Question 1 of 10
1. The game is filled with many playable characters (ten to be exact), and each one is unique in their own way. Diddy, the main character, drives a blue car and can be found in many other games including "Donkey Kong Country" and "Donkey Kong 64". Another main character is Banjo, who later appeared in his own games along with a wise-cracking bird named Kazooie. Another main character is Conker, who appeared in N64's "Conker's Bad Fur Day" and "Conker: Live and Reloaded" for the Gamecube. Timber, who lives on the island featured in the game, is a tiger.

What's wrong with my paragraph?

Question 2 of 10
2. Players can drive into balloons spread around each track in order to pick up useful items which can potentially move you ahead. A red balloon will contain missiles in some shape or form. The first red balloon will contain one missile, and then another will give you a homing missile. A third consecutive red balloon will give you ten homing missiles! Blue balloons contain boosts, each one more powerful than the last, and green balloon will contain hazards which can be placed on the road to get in the way of your opponents. These include mines, oil spills, and bubbles.

What's wrong with my paragraph here?
Hint

Question 3 of 10
3. The first area in the game is the 'Dino Domain'. In here, the first level is 'Ancient Lake'. The level is a great starter track since it's quite short and straight-forward, and since it's the first track, you only need one balloon to enter it. The second track is 'Fossil Canyon'. Sure, it only has a two balloon admission fee, but it's quite a bit longer than the first track. In fact, there's a shortcut that you can take across the lake in this level. When you're playing the track in a car, you can take the zipper across the lake (and usually) make it to the other side with ease. The third level is 'Hot Top Volcano', and it requires five balloons to enter for the first time. This is the first plane level of the game.

Oops! I seem to have made a mistake. What's wrong with this paragraph?
Hint

Question 4 of 10
4. After finishing 'Dino Domain', you can enter the three-balloon door in the cave to reach 'Snowflake Mountain'. Once here, you can visit 'Everfrost Peak' for the first (and only) plane level of the stage, and you can visit 'Walrus Cove', 'Snowball Valley', 'Frosty Village' if you want to warm up that engine. At the end of the tracks here on the mountain, you can race Bluey for another Wizpig Medallion (or the Silver Coin Challenge) by beating him down the mountain on your hovercraft. The secret key for this area is inside the 'Snowball Valley' track.

Uh oh! Another flub! What'd I get wrong this time?
Hint

Question 5 of 10
5. 'Sherbet Island' is the third world on the list, and inside, you'll find four tracks. Two are for the plane, and two are for the least-used vehicle, the hovercraft. All of these tracks have a water-theme to them including the track involved in getting the T.T. Amulet piece. In the end of the area, you will fight the boss, Bubbler, in your hovercraft. After this, you can complete the traditional Trophy Challenge.

Where did I make the mistake here?
Hint

Question 6 of 10
6. 'Dragon Forest' is the penultimate world in the game, and it's situated in a large forest (obviously). With sort of a medieval theme, the tracks will wind through towns (in 'Greenwood Village' and 'Haunted Woods'), caves, and windmills (in 'Windmill Plains'). At the end, you can fight the boss, Smokey the Bear, in a plane-exclusive track. This is the first of two boss matches where you will need the plane. To enter 'Dragon Forest', you need 16 balloons.

I get the feeling that there's something wrong with this paragraph too. Where's the error with this paragraph?
Hint

Question 7 of 10
7. After receiving all four pieces of the Wizpig Amulet, the large pig face in the cliff wall will open its mouth and you'll race Wizpig (with your car). After this battle, everyone will have a party on the beach, but Wizpig will crash it. After this, it's a matter of getting the T.T. Amulet to access the fifth and final area, 'Future Fun Land'. To reach this area, the lighthouse on the beach becomes a rocketship.

Where is the error in this paragraph?
Hint

Question 8 of 10
8. The tracks only get more complicated in the final area, 'Future Fun Land'. Rather than having a choice of what track you can choose, you have to do them in a certain order. After completing them once, you don't need to fight a boss for the silver coin challenge. Instead, you can just play the tracks again for these challenges. After this, you use the T.T. Amulet and your final total of balloons to open the doors to the final Wizpig race. Race three laps through the narrow caves in your car while Wizpig is riding a rocket and win. Once you've beaten this, Adventure 1 is basically over, but the game doesn't end there. :)

Grrr... I've done it again! Can you see what's wrong? What's the mistake here?
Hint

Question 9 of 10
9. The secret tracks found in each of the five stages allow you to find the pieces of the T.T. Amulet if you win them. These pieces are used to open the door in 'Future Fun Land' to face Wizpig one last time. To open the secret tracks, you need to find keys in certain levels. During each secret track you will face off against three other opponents in order to win the prize.

What did I do wrong here?
Hint

Question 10 of 10
10. In the game, there are numerous cheats which can be used to enhance the gaming experience. Using cheats like ROCKETFUEL and TOXICOFFENDER will change the colours of balloons in each level while JUKEBOX will give a music test. BRUTUS can make your players large while TEENYWEENIES will make them smaller. All of these cheats can be turned on and off and inserted in the options menu, and every time you restart the game, they need to be re-entered.

I made one final mistake. What's the problem in this final paragraph?
Hint

Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts

Answer: "Conker: Live and Reloaded" was never released on Gamecube.

"Conker: Live and Reloaded" was only released on the Xbox when Rare sold the rights to Microsoft. It featured remastered versions of the levels in "Conker's Bad Fur Day" (N64) as well as a few extra things. Banjo appeared in the games "Banjo-Kazooie" and "Banjo-Tooie", both of which were more successful than "Diddy Kong Racing". Diddy has also been in more successful games such as "Donkey Kong 64", which was once N64's Game of the Year.

Answer: A third consecutive red balloon won't give you ten homing missiles.

A third consecutive red balloon will never give you ten homing missiles, but you'll still get ten regular missiles. If you use most of them up, you can refill them by running into another red balloon, but any other coloured balloon will break the chain, and you'll need to work on something else. Balloons are scattered around every single track in the game, and some require certain vehicles to reach, such as the plane in 'Jungle Falls'.

Answer: The third track isn't 'Hot Top Volcano'.

Yikes! How did I mess that one up? The order of tracks in the 'Dino Domain' is 'Ancient Lake', 'Fossil Canyon', 'Jungle Falls', and 'Hot Top Volcano'. All of the tracks in 'Dino Domain' are raced in cars except for 'Hot Top Volcano'. Once you've beaten the tracks once, you will be sent off to race Tricky the Dinosaur for the Silver Coin Challenge. Once you complete that, you race him again for a piece of the Wizpig Medallion.

Answer: The entrance to 'Snowflake Mountain' is only a two-balloon door.

Well, I screwed up right in the very beginning this time. That's right! You can (possibly) visit 'Snowflake Mountain' before visiting the 'Dino Domain' since you can find three balloons out on Timber's Island (and three more from Taj). Don't expect to get far though, once you reach the more advanced 'Snowflake Mountain' tracks, you'll be running mighty low on balloons.
When you retrieve the key from the 'Snowball Valley' track, you can unlock the fun 'Icicle Pyramid' game. If you beat this, you get a quarter of the T.T. Amulet.

Answer: The plane isn't used in any tracks in 'Sherbet Island'.

You race 'Whale Bay' and 'Pirate Lagoon' in the hovercraft, and 'Crescent Island' and 'Treasure Caves' in the car. The secret stage and the boss are raced in your hovercraft. In this game, the hovercraft is only used in three levels. The only one not in 'Sherbet Island' is 'Boulder Canyon' in 'Dragon Forest', the fourth area of the game. It's a good thing too; the hovercraft is probably the most difficult vehicle to control!
To enter 'Sherbet Island', you'll need at least ten balloons, but you can't finish it without twenty-two balloons, so stock up!

Answer: The boss isn't a bear; it's a dragon.

To find 'Dragon Forest, you need to take a vehicle, and drive through one of the waterfalls on Timber's Island. Once you're there, you'll need to get all of the balloons that you can to finish the area since 'Haunted Woods' needs thirty-seven balloons for its silver coin challenge. Two of the tracks here are extremely tight and twisty while 'Boulder Canyon' is filled with obstacles, and 'Windmill Plains' is quite open (after all, it's a plane track).

Much like 'Windmill Plains', the boss battle takes you through large caves, around windmills, and through the trees. Because of this, it's very open.

When racing Smokey, be sure to watch out for the fireballs he leaves behind.

Answer: The T.T. Amulet isn't used to access 'Future Fun Land'

As soon as the four bosses in the different worlds are defeated, the cliff wall is opened and you race Wizpig. That part was true, but you don't need to find the pieces of the T.T. Amulet until later. Instead, you need to finish the four Trophy Challenges (one in each world).

After this, you need to honk in front of the billboard on the beach, and a cinematic will take place where you enter the lighthouse and fly to the final world.
:) Grrr... I've done it again! Can you see what's wrong? What's the mistake here?

Answer: You race Wizpig in a plane.

Once you earn the final eight balloons from the 'Future Fun Land' tracks, you should have the final total of forty-seven balloons. Use this and the T.T. Amulet (collected from secret tracks) to open the doors to Wizpig. Once you've beaten Wizpig, you can either return to the that save file to complete the 'Future Fun Land' trophy challenge for a 'perfect' game, or you can begin Adventure 2. Adventure 2 is the same game, but the tracks are reversed, and the sliver coins are in new places.

Answer: There are only secret tracks in four of the worlds.

The secret tracks are 'Fire Mountain', 'Icicle Pyramid', 'Darkwater Beach', and 'Smokey Castle'. Whether it be to destroy your opponents or hatch eggs quicker, the main goal is to win. The keys to these levels are found in 'Ancient Lake', 'Snowball Valley', 'Crescent Island', and 'Boulder Canyon', and finding them may not be an easy task. One of my incorrect answers mentioned silver balloons.

These may not be used to open secret tracks, but they replace the gold balloons in Adventure 2.

Answer: BRUTUS isn't even a code.

The code to make your characters larger is ARNOLD and not BRUTUS. Some neat codes include JOINTVENTURE which allows two players to cooperatively play Adventure mode, and DOUBLEVISION which allows two (or more) different players to choose the same character. OFFROAD will also be useful since it allows your cars to have four-wheel drive. If you want to be really cheap, you can always get rid of the weapons of your enemies with BYEBYEBALLOONS.

Well, that's about it! I'm tired of being wrong for a while. Thanks for editing my quiz though, it gives me a break before I send it off to the queue. :)
