Rather than continue to hi-jack Jolana's thread during her temporary absence, I will post further cryptic crosswords clues here until she returns and wishes to take back the reins!

From the previous page, Chris.

11a Quality veteran forward playing in the centre

PROPERTY which is a definition of quality. A veteran forward is a PROP. (ERTY?)

I can see that Y is the centre of playing.

5D Home computer system adopted by extremely enthusiastic part of a country.

I think this is MAINLAND, which would be part of a country.
Extremely enthusiastic is MAD. If one is home, one is IN. A computer system is a LAN (for local area network).

I think 6D might be EATEN. But I can't figure out exactly what the word play would be.

The veteran could just be a PRO. The word PERT can mean forward. Then the theory of Y in the center of plaYing works as the last letter.

Yep. All correct. If you're using the on-line version you'll have a congratulations label too!
Well done, guys and gals.

Thanks once again Sue, and I was able to see the congratulations label.

I think the wordplay for : 6d Had something scrambled after starter (5) is possibly:
scrambled = BEATEN after starter = EATEN

I'm still puzzled ref the complete wordplay for 1d Drama series very much appreciated by each generation (5,6) = SOAP OPERA

Drama series is obviously a soap opera, and 'very much' might = SO, appreciated AP? also 'each' could relate to PER but also ERA could perhaps be generation?

Thanks Ivor. I might see if he has included any notes on that - probably won't be up before next Wednesday.

It'll be interesting to know Sue, is the word play usually explained?

If you Google the Stickler Weekly you'll see he has a website and quite a few followers. Incidentally, we can probably go back and do any number of old crosswords. It's a very user-friendly site.
