My favorite actor is Sidney Poitier. I have read his biography "Measure of a Man," which tells of his family's arrival in Florida and how he tried to obtain acting roles, but was told that he needed to learn how to speak first. Poitier is probably best remembered for portraying Mark Thackerary in "To Sir, With Love." Everytime this movie is on I watch it. Sidney is mesmerizing as Thackerary and how he teaches his students, even though they make his life hell on wheels, and how he finally wins their approval and friendship. It also shows how he teaches them to love their selves and to respect each other and how anything and everything in life can be yours if you try and want it bad enough.

My favorite actor is Wentworth Miller of "Prison Break". The man is not only incredibly talented, but he is also extremely intelligent, which is a rarity in Hollywood. Wentworth had graduated from ivy league Princeton with a bachelor's degree in English literature, which is a plus to me since I also received a bachelor's in English literature and use books as inspiration in my own life. He is also very down to earth and seems to be the sweetest guy you would ever want to meet. Then there is his sophisticated, yet sexy voice that makes his carefully chosen words sound even better. Actor: Patrick Swayze becuase he's just HOT and he's talented too both in dancing and acting. Robin Williams and Tom Hanks becuaes they are so versitile.
